No no no don't distract 3D Realms. One thing at a time. They are finding it hard enough staying focused in DNF.
Then again, I have a strong feeling the next game will suck from the trailer and sneak peek footage I saw on it so maybe a movie would be good.
But that's right, all game movies seem to epically fail, so either way it's looking pretty crappy.
No I don't consider myself a pessimist

There already was a Duke Nukem movie, it was called "Army of Darkness", starred Bruce Campbell and was 100% awesome!

but the movie should be cool if they do it right.
theres at least 5 games to base this on, including the psx 1's which noone seems to ever include, so hopefully they get it right

with our luck it will probably get banned in Australia, then get re-released with all the good bits taken out and given an R rating anyway. Then every country everywhere else will be subject to the same treatment. Personally I dont see this kind of movie as a big box office hit, rather a straight to dvd release.
