Still not really that long. 4 hours isn't much, but at least it isn't any shorter.

I usually get 6 hours out of my Slim, which I'm pretty happy with since the DS doesn't last much longer (at least mine don't). _________________

Yeah I'd be lucky to get 4.5 hours out of my PSP Slim, which is usually enough for anything I'd need it for in one sitting. My DS lite trumps it doing 10+ hours - I don't even know how long but it lasts me a weeks some times. My biggest battery gripe with the PSP is that even on standby it will die quite quickly, whereas the DS will go for a week without any issue. _________________

What the hell have you been doing to it?
My launch console gets played every week day for about an hour and it hasn't been recharged for 3 weeks and it still hasn't got the Red Light Indicator on it... _________________

What have I been doing to it? Using them of course. My launch consoles have had much heavier use than that, an hour a day is nothing, mine often get 5-6 a day at times (such as when I was playing World Ends With You). _________________

if they could tweak the battery life to compensate for the new screen, shows they could probably make the battery life even better if they tried.
I wouldn't mind a PSP as a bit of a change from my DS, but I know myself too well, it would sit around with a dead battery half the time. I already have enough trouble keeping my mobile and DS charged.

Wow thats actually quite impressive, considering how much brighter and clear the resolution is on the 3000.
It definitely is a big difference.
EDIT: Top is the Slim btw, so imagine the comparison between the original psp. _________________
