Finished Too Human a few days ago. The story while a little weak through the game came out quite well towards the end. I think it was one of the better games I've played in a while, the controls while iffy at the start worked a treat after I had gotten used to them. The online is quite fun but still a little disappointing, SK really needed to push 4 player and maybe a proper lobby system in Aesir (Think Pioneer in PSO). If you like stats and loot I would highly recommend. Now time to get to level 50 and start hunting some red gear icon_smile.gif

Final Fantasy X. Beat it about 15 minutes ago. It was my first Final Fantasy experience, and I thouroughly enjoyed every minute of it. Its really got me wanting to play the others.

I heard FFX got a sequel, but I haven't really heard much about it, is it worth getting?

After desciding to go through and actually finish my old games, I just beat Half life 2 around 5 minutes ago.

And it actually lived up to the hype. It wasn't perfect there were some bits that just sucked (Any time you're in a vehical) but for the most part it was just pure epic. Ending was weird but I'm pumped for epp 1 now.

If you're speaking of FFx-2, I can recommend it. It feels a lot more light-hearted. Well personally I liked ffx-2 a lot more than ffx, ffx i have finished but only by using a trainer. FFx-2 i finished something like 5 times properly, up to 89% but was just missing some of the more awesome items .

Not to mention Yuna, Rikku and Payne are super hot. Pretty sure you could hunt down a platinum copy for about $20-25.

Finished Call of Duty 4 on Veteran today.

I don't need to tell you guys how good this game is, but I found the experience even better after playing it again on Veteran. You really have to use cover and tactics more and since you are likely to die with one hit, it is more realistic.

Awesome game, absolutley loved it.

Just finished Condemned 2 today. It was such an incredible thrill ride, far superior in many ways to the original. It wasn't nearly as scary as the first one however, but it still had its' moments and 'tricks'.

One example is in the 2nd level (the Hotel) where when you go into a bathroom, you'll see a druggie sneak up on you in the mirror. Took me by surprise and I jumped. 2nd time I entered a bathroom with a mirror, I though "Ah ha, I'll outsmart the game" so I continually checked the mirror and turned 180 degrees. Okay, it was a one off. So I opened the mirror/medicine cabinet, took the health kit, turned around, and jumped out of my skin. A damn druggie was standing behind me, only appearing after the mirror couldn't give him away. There were still plenty of creepy parts throughout the experience, but I still wasn't on edge every second like in the first.

The investigations were surprisingly the most fun part of the game for me. I wish there were at least one or two more. Admittedly, they were extremely easy (got perfect on nearly everyone), and some choices were laughable such as when you have to ask a question about the Oro, and one of the choices is "Human existed 2000 years ago?", or "How do you spell Oro?" Still, I enjoyed that part immensely.

I cannot wait for a third installment, as I enjoyed the story which many didn't. Then again, I went into the game knowing that it had a sci-fi "ancient mystical cult" twist, same as with Fahrenheit. Also, is it just me or did some sections seem like they wouldn't have been out of place in Bioshock? Namely the Magicman and the woman in the toy factory doing cartwheels. Oh yeah, I loved the return of the mannequins!

Damn I really want Condemned 2...

Anyway it probably doesn't count but I recently finished the Sequence mode of Geometry Wars 2. I consider myself to be fairly good at Geometry Wars but it definitely took some time (and learning of the different levels) before I was good enough to see out the 20 levels. Now I plan on working on that Smile achievement which is the last achievement I need.

I got a PS3 1 week ago (crossing over from the 360 camp) and I've completed Drake's Fortune and Heavenly Sword (slowmo arrows and canons!). That's right - I'm knocking over the short but incredibly sweet titles first. I have started playing Oblivion, but I don't think I'll be adding that to this thread for at least a couple of months icon_wink.gif

The latest game I finished would be Uncharted, which I actually got all the trophies for in the space of two weekends... Other than that I hope I can get all the award for Burnout: Paradise, at 85% right now... when the davis patch comes out, I can't wait for the flood of trophies lol

After 6 months, I have finally finished Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters. It's only a 5 and a half hour game. That's not to say it was bad, the Ratchet & Clank series is my favourite franchise and probably the most fun games in my opinion, but there was something lacking in this game.

I know it wasn't developed by Insomniac but by High Impact (even though they're made up of ex-Insomniacs), but I still didn't enjoy it as much as I should, resulting in such a short game taking me forever to complete.

The levels were very bland with nothing going on in the background, the music wasn't as good as other games in the series, the humour was lacking, and at times seemed forced, and it only took 5.5 hours to complete. I'm not one to care for length (tee-hee), I mean, Heavenly Sword is my fav game, but some game need to be epic with plenty of levels, and the Ratchet series is one of them. Pretty much every other game in the series (barring Gladiator. Let us forget it ever existed... Actually that's a bit harsh) took me 20 hours to complete.

Oh well, I still enjoyed it and had fun, as the gameplay was still up to par with the rest of the series, and I'll still give Secret Agent Clank a go, but sometimes series are best left to their original creators *Cough, Call of Duty, Cough*.

Woah there, back track.

You haven't played Episode 1?

Put it this way; while Half-Life 2 is "Half-Life 2" in name, the episodes are basically going to be utterly essential to the continuation of the story. Once you begin Episode 1 you realise its not trying to be Half-Life 3, but instead extend and finish the Half-Life saga.

Assuming Valve pull it off, which they will, to truly play "Half-Life 2" you'll need to play through Half-Life 2 and all three episodes. If Episode 2 is anything to go by, the climax of Episode 3 is going to be one of the most memorable moments in gaming for the rest of my life.

Wow Chopbusted I found Call of Duty 4 on Veteran to be the most horrifically cheap and nasty experience ever. Made it about half way before deciding I had far better things to do than tear my hair out over it.
Congrats on beating it though, thats a nice gaming achievement.

Yesterday, I finished Enchanted Arms finally. It only got just over 50 hours out of me and I got the 1000/1000 but still... it took months and months.

First game I ever skipped past story on too, heh. The voice acting and script were just that bad. The main story was good though. Not a fan of the battle/fighting though. It was just lacking.

Haha thanks man, I didn't find it all that bad ... except for 2 levels: No Fighting in the War Room and Mile High Club.

The controller nearly had a close encounter with the TV on a few occasions, but I found it very addictive and I just had to keep trying til I passed them.

Just this very minute finished Extraction Point on 360 wasnt too bad as after finishing the orginal Fear I was craving more terror from Alma. Now I have Perseus Mandate to keep me occupied till Project Origin comes out.

I dont know what it is but there is something about this series that has really drawn me in.

Portal on PS3.

A fantastic game, though a little short and plagued with a few bugs, was well worth it. It wasn't very challenging though, as the puzzles seemed to be no brainers but that didn't detract from the fun.
