I see this on a lot of other forums but not on this one.
I just finished Dragon Quest VIII after my second run through.
I couldn't beat the final boss last time but this time a heap of grinding (and exploiting metal slimes) saw me through. Excellent ending, exactly what you expect but in the super fun happy way that runs through the rest of the game.
I'm actually right at the end of another RPG DDS2 which I have to grind before the last boss, so hopefully I'll finish that tonight as well.

I think it still is MGS4 and before that, okami ps2, FF crisis core, uncharted, r+c and bioshock (in sequence) I buy too many games and couldn't be bothered finishing a lot of them. But the games I do finish (the above.. I thought all played superbly). _________________

The last game I finished was GTA4, and I believe before that it was again GTA4. Before that... Crisis Core? This is with months between each completion. I think this thread's gonna sort out the two types of gamers in this area... _________________

I am really bad at this... I'll play a game really solidly for a few weeks, get bored, and move onto another game. When I eventually come back to it I'll think "I haven't played it in so long, I better start again" and the cycle repeats itself...
Ummm... Portal, I really loved it. Before that (because everyone knows Portal is short and to the point), I think it'd be either Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime or Phonix Wright 2. _________________

Hmm..
Most recent was episode one of season 1 of Sam and Max. And I'm about to crack episode two, but they don't really count.
Before that I beat CoD4 within about a week and a half. Short but sweet game right there. Before that it was World in Conflict, another very satisfying title. Before WiC I'd been playing open-ended (read: unbeatable or very hard to beat) titles so I can't remember others that I've clocked recently.
I do have a half-finished game of STALKER on this PC. This game really sucks me in, but I can never sum up the gumption to just beat it. Maybe in another couple of years. I also have a round of Medieval II that I haven't touched in a while, I've never actually completed a campaign in a Total War game, they're brilliant, but my poor little attention span will always waver by the halfway point. _________________ My Photos

Just finished Mario Kart and got all the trophies, am almost finished COD4, nearly halfway through Super Mario Galaxy, up to world 8 in New Super Mario Bros. and previously finished Bioshock, which is fantastic. Been thinking about playing through it again to get the different ending.
I to have alot of games built up. I seem to finish the ones I really like and just leave the rest to play when I feel like it, but I really should start finishing my games. _________________

Last game i finished was Oblivion (ie: the main quest) on Saturday arvo. Played as a Redguard - i always play games as a black character, if given the opportunity - specialised in close combat and stealth, at Level 16.
Took 92 hours, but that includes finishing ALL the Guilds and Shivering Isles too. I started playing it in January 2007 lol, finally came back to finish it in the past few weeks.
Prior to that i finished Amped 3, Lost, NFS Most Wanted, Bully, X-Men Official Game and Alone in the Dark (all of them in terms of both finishing the story mode, and getting all Achievements).

Rhythm Tengoku Gold.
'Thank you verrrrrry much.'
Those frogs are so awesome.
Although, I'm not sure if that really counts as 'finishing'. I reached the credits... but there are a tonne more perfects I need to gain/ Scratch that. I didn't finish Rhythm Tengoku at all.
I guess that makes Uncharted the latest game. _________________

I finished The World Ends With You last, and then I basically played through it again to get all the extra post-game stuff. Before that would be MGS4 as I haven't finished One Piece: Unlimited Adventure (ouch). _________________

The last 3 games completed 100% were Banjo-Kazooie, Ocarina of Time and Grand Theft Auto III.
Almost 100% Metal Gear Solid 2, but I missed one dog tag and I had no idea where it was.
So... It's been a while... _________________

That's where my idea if 'finishing' a game differs. I call a game finished when I've beaten the main story mode, regardless of how many collectables I've failed to pick up along the way. If I go by your yardstick, I've probably never finished a game! Not having a go by the way, I just don't have the patience for reaching that 100%. _________________ My Photos

It's easy to finish a storyline is all, and this is the 3rd thread currently active
where people talk about which game they've finished.
Every nick-nack found isn't my definition of a finished storyline either. _________________

The last game I beat was the Japanese version of Disgaea 3. I've been splitting my time between a lot of games, so I haven't beat many of them. _________________

Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. That includes every quest and every artifact. Still cannot believe I did it.
Halo 3, I liked it, but far too short for my liking.

After who knows how long I finally finished Digital Devil Saga 2. And even though the game had some amazing scenes and for the most part was awesome, the ending (by that I mean the very end... the cutscene that plays after the final boss) really dissapointed me. Not because it was bad, it tied up everything but because it felt like it was straight out of kingdom hearts.
Not that Kingdom Hearts is bad but DDS is a dark game about eating your friends to grow stronger. I felt it deserved a darker ending, especially after the awesome ending of the first.
There was also a (Mega expletive) of a boss right before the end (not the last boss though) who was evil incarnate. Actually the hardest RPG boss I've ever had to tackle (including the fiends from Nocturne!).
Still, it was good, the plot twists mid game (which were dark as hell, surprised some weren't censored) made up for the iffy ending.

I just finished Condemned. What an incredible experience.
Also finished Uncharted for the 4th time, mainly this time to get all the trophies. Have them all except for finishing it on Crushing.

Lost: Via Domus.
It is a short game so it wasn't too hard to finish. Some of the Fuse puzzles took a while to figure out and finding some of the objects that needed to be photographed (for achievements) also took some time, but otherwise the game was easy. A lot of people get this game for the quick 1000/1000 points but I was interested in the game because I am a fan of the show and on that level, the game was good. Seeing certain events from the show from a different perspective was nice, as was finding out more about the game's character as the story continued on. The twist at the end was also cool and was in typical Lost fashion so in a way it is a shame that the show hasn't referenced the game or that they haven't tied the game in with the show a bit more. Maybe they are doing it on purpose though and maybe instead there will be another Lost game in the future?
Anyway in summary as a game it was average but as an extension of the Lost universe it was good and I am glad I played it. Shame the game didn't fully meet its potential, though. _________________
