At present the PS3. The exclusives it has are very enjoyable. Only thing I dont like is that the Japanese model has the O and X back to front. LOL.
Of all time, very difficult choice. I bought my PS2 at launch and had so much fun with it, and also my N64. Back in its day, damn what an awesome machine.

Well, its just been a pipe dream for a fair while now, mainly because i really want to be able to click "toast" on my computer and have the toast pop up, but thats kinda impossible-ish. Ill probrably end up just cutting it in.
And yes, photos will come.

gamecube was pretty good. Metroid prime was really a superb game. I hope that in future nintendo handhelds, metroid prime will be ported on so i can relive the memories of versing thardus and meltin down the baddies

DS is my favourite console, there are just way too many fantastic games on it (although is has slowed down a lot lately). Second would be 360, it has a handful of games that I really enjoy.

360 for being a complete next-gen gaming solution. For my tastes, it has the best selection of games (download and retail) and best online interface. I like things that are thoughtful and done from the ground up (ie 360 in-game guide, music etc). The PS3 just isn't in the same class of smoothness and usablity appeal, for example, the lack of an IR port really really annoys me (cause it's the ONLY thing I can't use with my universal remote) and the controller not turning itself off (plusthat stupid blue-tooth remote turning the PS3 on with a small bump).
Wii and PS3 are great machines but lack certain things in areas. Games and solution.

Well i have all the systems listed there, So for me
360 is well on top. Even though the hardware is junk i just find it more fun to use and play
PS3 is second. The hardware is great but, i just find it boring. I was a big sony fan but after using a 360 is just isn't up there yet.
D.S is my third pick. Its a great portable machine and iv had heaps of fun on it.
Wii is forth. I don't mind the Wii but its just a thing i use when a few mates are around. Other then that i never touch it
PSP is last. I just don't like the PSP. Iv had it since day one and pretty much never play it.

ps3 hardware is superior. Its single core 3.2ghz/8 cells can probably outpower the tri cored 3.2ghz 360. In terms of graphical grunt, the ps3 is also probably the one with the advantageous 256gddr4/256gddr3 compared to the 360's 512gddr3.
Despite this superiority, games on the ps3 seem to be lacking in terms of graphical quality. Maybe its due to the difficult programming needed to fully utilise the 8 cells.
The DS' graphical quality is clearly lacking, and i am looking forwards to nintendo's next handheld. The psp's graphical quality is an improvement, but i would still like to see it be able to handle antialiasing better.
I don't know how the wii's 483mhz engine (if i can recall correctly) can keep up with current competition, despite its innovation.

To be fair,games on the DS are capable of making fairly good graphics in relation to the hardware inside..same can be said about the psp.
But in any case, games for the psp/ds really have slowed down in the past few months..
at first there was just so many good games, I didnt have enough time to play through them all.. then there was the period where crapware flooded the market --> horsez/catz/dogz/ other no name clones/generic versions of other games..
but now and then there are quite a few gems that come out
like echodrome on psp..and ffIV on ds

At the moment my PS3 is undoubtedly my favourite console. Every thing that's great to play is on it.
Then far behind that is my xbox 360, which I only really play Halo 3 and GTA4 on, followed by my psp (remote connection for the win) and my DS.
I dug my 64 out the other day, so it's currently plugged into my tv, with Perfect Dark in it. My cube was hooked up yesterday (thanks to TheAnswer) and I was giving that a run too...

i need to get an n64 someday.. the transparent jade ones just look so damn cool i don't think i'd even care if i played a single game on it. It'd never happen, but it'd be sweet to have a re-make of the 64 as smaller size like sony did with the ps and ps2, and with the ability to use it as a multi-tap for using n64 controllers on a wii. there would be a fan market.. a man can dream.

It's a mix for me, if you counted in backwards compatibility for all 3 consoles I'd say Wii, 360 then PS3. If not then 360, PS3 then Wii. Why:
Wii - Smash Bros (Melee): pretty much is the reason I have some of my closest friends.
360 - Halo: again have met a lot of people through xbox live.
PS3 - .... erm Final Fantasy I guess XD

I like my PS3 dont get me wrong, but the controllers just feel so so so wrong. Therefore of the current gen the 360 gets my tick of approval - joystick placement feels just about spot on. Silly sony analogue sticks...

to be fair, he might've had PS3 on the list when he wrote the poll, but the BB code is a bit arse-backwards in that you have to write it in, then press add - the last option is always discarded, empty or not.
PC should've been added too, but then these threads are never particularly well-rounded anyway.

personally - i don't know.
i still really prefer the PS controller to anything else around, though i've definitely gotten used to the X360 one now, and i like the concept of the Wiimotes, but i'm still not sure i've seen anything worthy of it yet.
my 2 favourite (single platform) franchises are Gran Turismo and MGS, and God of War is fast becoming number 3. Forza is a decent substitute for one, but there's nothing like MGS. (and i prefer GOW vastly to Ninja Gaiden)
however the XBox 360 can't be beat in the social regard. XBL just craps all over PSN and Wiifii.
i also hope the PS Trophies are adequate substitutes to achievements.
i like the idea of them, i just think the Gamerscore ruins them.
so while my heart wants me to say PS3, but head is probably still drawn more to the XBox 360 at the moment.

Xbox 360 atm. I've got a PS3 and a DS but don't really play them all that much. PS3 has very few games that appeal to me (I got it for free otherwise I wouldn't even have one).
I prefer the xbox controller to the ps controller as well so I always buy the xbox version for multiplatform stuff.

PS3 if you exclude the PC. Its exclusives appeal to me the most and I enjoy its menu system. I use it for almost everything I do.
Otherwise, if PC is available..yeah PC. Need my WoW and UT fix! (and by UT I mean the full fast pace, not the gimped pace  )

PS3 has a more polished feel to it in my opinion and I can see the ground its established for its future proceedings, as for the Wii there feels like there is nothing decent thats ever going to appeal to me, and the 360 has nothing exlcusive that I'm interested in.
And as far as PC goes...when it comes to gaming its so user-unfriendly, especially regarding specs and mods and stuff. When I put a game into a console, I want it to work with no questions asked.
