I am looking forward to this no doubt. The war between who's cooler between pirates and ninja's was so last year... bring on zombies!
Good to see they are doing a more RE4 style control, personally I wasn't that impressed with the controls in the 360 version.

Well thats a good thing for hte wii, dead rising really is a great game, i just hope for their sake they have fixed the ai of the survivors, the 360 one is TERRIBLE

I thought the huge numbers of zombies in the 360 game is what made it so tense and nerve racking. There was just no escape. With fewer zombies around it doesn't look quite the same, not to mention those graphics in those shots look horrible.

I've heard that nothing has been mentioned in as far as releasing this title outside of Japan goes. My hopes went up and then miraculously dropped. Let's hope it gets an english release (I wont hold my breath for PAL)..

the wii really the wii really sigh i thought if you were going to port a 360 game like Dead Rising to another console it would be the PS3. The 360 and the PS3 have more in common with each other then the 360 and the Wii does.
Surely with a wii version you would have to dumb it down a lot after all it is the Wii. The least powerful console of this generation. And i've seen screens of the 360 version damn that's pretty obviously the wii couldn't handle that graphics wise. And they would probably have to dumb it down even more to appeal to a more casual auidence after all it is the Wii and we all know the Wii isn't excatly the home of the hardcore gamer.
Get your stabbing motion ready. But the game certainly has potential on the Wii. But i would love to see it on the PS3 also because i've never played the game.

I can't think going from hundreds of zombies on screen to dozens is an "enhanced port ".
Now if they held it back and used the 1:1 controls...then that would be awesome.

They've also taken out the photography part of the game, for some reason.

So therefore, I believe that there is MORE than 1 console.

that has the smell of fanboy all over it... So bassically you like the sound of 360 games such as dead rising etc, but you wouldnt want it unless its on ps3? would the gameplay be 'superior' on ps3? no it wouldnt. Its stupid to say there is only one console because you only like one because frankly, no one here probably cares for that opinion

I read "Zombie Sacrifice" and I assumed it was referring to the zombie count being lowered and that Capcom had confirmed it. 
The new title is much better though.
