Eh, I think that was a bit better than last year. Maybe it was because I was expecting less this time around though I really did like Wii Music, though.

Wii Music sounds really cool. I'm not fussed about the other stuff though. A little disappointed. _________________

A bit disappointing, but only because there were no huge announcements (other than the fact that Mario and Zelda teams are hard at work). Motion plus looks cool, but I probably wouldn't buy the REsort game unless it was cheap. Wii Music has merit (seems to work like Electroplankton but less psychodelic marine life and more flowers and Miis), but again, I wouldn't buy it.
Looks great for the casual gamer, but I can't see myself making that many Wii purchases in the future. _________________

This is depressing. I thought it was going to be good when we saw Wii Sports 2. _________________

It seems Nintendo released a new channel on the Wii too, as mine is flashing blue... _________________ <iframe src="http://gamercard.xbox.com/Ministry%20Se7en.card" scrolling="no" frameBorder="0" height="140" width="204">Put your gamertag here too.</iframe>

I'd say that it will come bundled with at least one of the new motion devices. Much like Wii Play came with a Wiimote. _________________

Was about as interesting as the Microsoft conference really from what I've read in text (bar FFXIII announcement).
Bring on Sony and the actual show itself (which is bound to have one or two surprises).

I went in wanting a reason to keep my Wii. I left with nothing even close. Horribly disappointing conference by Nintendo.
For all their talk about satisfying the 'core' gamer, they sure didn't have much to show for it. Nintendo of old seems to be long gone. I can't say I'm a huge fan of what they've become. _________________

But since multiplayer is such an important facet of their strategy, you'd need at least 2 Motion Plus units. Therein lies the problem. _________________

Too casual for my liking. Up to Sony to bring something for the hardcore gamers like me.
If not, I'm going back to my PC and staying there. _________________

Wow is it me or was 1/3 of that conference just on statistics and boasting about how Nintendo has done well?
Ah well PC gaming ftw!

+ Animal Crossing Wii?
+ Wii Speak
+ MotionPlus utalisation in Wii Sports 2 looks pretty good
+ Wii Music looks kinda fun
+ GTA DS could be cool
- No storage solution
- No talk of already announced core games like Fatal Frame and Disaster
- No announced core games
- CASUAL CASUAL CASUAL HEY GUYS CASUAL DID YOU GUYS WANT MORE CASUAL HERE HAVE SOME CASUAL CASUAL CASUAL
- Utterly shite and boring
Two epic fail E3s in a row. Might as well make it a hat-trick, Nintendo. _________________

Snowboarding could be really good, but Ubisoft does have a habit of disappointing me, so I won't be getting my hopes up.
Wii Motion Plus has potential, but that won't mean anything without some solid games to back it up. Also, it's an add-on to the wii, like the nunchuck. So, developers won't be able to use the more precise motion controls and a control stick, so I don't see it as being that exciting.
I'm picking at the conference, but I think I was justified in expecting more. They're giving us voice chat, and that's nice, but with this WiiSpeak thing - it's designed so more than one person can talk at the same time. However, if I'm playing with my friends that are there in person, why do I need go online anyway?
One good thing I got from this was the impression that Nintendo don't intend to come out with any new consoles soon, which is nice for the money-lacking like me.

Wow, Nintendo must want me to sell my wii. Unless Tales of symphonia 2 gets a PAL release it look like a good option.

Terrible, nothing to note there at all.
Storage solution I expect to just come in a firmware update. I doubt they'll be releasing anything extra for it.
I want this Wii Speak thing to run across all apps! PLEASE UPDATE MARIO KART AND SSMB! _________________ Shin J Leon.

So where is this "Game the hardcore would get excited about" for the Wii? Where is it Reggie? _________________

I am a sad panda.
I defended Nintendo's 'hardcore' output up until now, because it was essentially the same as the GCN.
But this....this sucks

Could it be that Nintendo, as a company have realised that hardcore games isn't where the money is?

Although dissapointing that casual gaming is now getting more priority from Ninty it all makes sense.
Cheap games to produce but will most likely sell well since there is now a big target audience.
Most casual gamers dont even care about game reviews. Just buy what ever suit their taste.
The Wii is a console that is selling well mainly because of the appeal of its periphirals.
