In the Western nations definitely it will happen. Only in Japan is were unfortunately the 360 will fail.
But Japan alone isnt enough to help Sony beat the 360. So yep, with FF13 going to 360 Sony are in trouble.
MGS4 going to 360 will not be surprising.

big claim - i would have agreed 3-4 months back but now I doubt it -
I play on all current gen consoles and the 2.41 PS firmware update has made me switch sides to Sony - dont get me wrong - I play almost an equal no of hours on the 360 if not more, but the PS3 offers so much more in terms of the PS store, I dont have to be a gold member to download demos, in game XMB which is really cool etc etc..
I see MS launching a successor to the 360 next E3 (to come out Nov 2010)while the PS3 will be Sony's console of choice till approx 2013.

^ You don't need to be gold member to download demos. You just wait for wait a couple of weeks longer.
I disagree, I'm always downloading stuff from the XBL marketplace (videos etc) but never anything from the PSN. It's like a bare cupboard. A full functional in-game XMB has been available on the 360 since launch. And it's still far surperior.
It is a big claim though. PAL gamers certainly love the PS brand. M$ need to annouce some big titles to cap off an excellent generation for them. If the 360 does win overall it will be because of the US.

I rephrase - what I meant was I dont have to be a "Gold" member to download demos as they are released ... with PSN - I can download demos when they are on the network along with game content - for example - I had to wait a week to download the top gun anthem for GH3 on the live marketplace -

Well with Fable, Star Ocean, Gears and maybe Resident Evil 5 coming out in this finacial year we have a few console movers and huge sellers right there. The 360 may just beat the PS3 this financial year, especially with all the announcements of Sony games going multi-platform a lot of people who have been waiting to get a console will probably go with the 360 because they'll get the same games but save money on the console itself.
Or at least that's my attempt at substantiating what he said.

Yeah all this crap slinging around really makes me not give a damn anymore, the FFXIII news was a blow to me as I solely only got my PS3 for MGS4 and FFXIII way back at the end of 2006.
I don't mind I guess since its coming to the PS3 anyway, but I'll cry if FFXIV is 360 exclusive.

++++++++++++ That's exactly what I would say. Then Microsoft will bring out the X720, and claim to win that 'generation' too until Sony's next console comes out at the time of the X1080.
