I was actually thinking of making this thread when I was trying to get to sleep last night.
We need to get a big palgn turnout this year. So far, the only PALGNer I have met is Dare, so all you other Sydney guys have to come!
Here are the dates if you cant be bothered to click on emech's link.
Hopefully Jamie/Chrono will be helping to run the show again this year

It's just a fun day to see the new games Nintendo have coming. It doesn't matter if you have the games that are there, because there are usually competitions where you can win games, etc.
The Pokemon Connection Tour and Wii Connection Tour were fantastic, Nintendo Australia really impressed me with how well they organised it.

i was at the last one in chatswood, didnt meet any people from palgn, or at least i dont think i did, but one of the ds's set up for demoing had a profile named sylux, that might have been the sylux from here, or maybe someone at the tour just likes metroid prime hunters. maybe closer there will be a thread and i can know what people will look like? cause i went to the 06 and the 07 and i intend to go to this one as well

So Qbert is (probably) going this weekend to the Carindale ones
Anyone else going this weekend and plan on doing a write-up of the event?
If not (well from here anyway), Qbert could u do one?
28th & 29th - Chermside
30th & 1st - Carindale
I'll be going next week, hopefully for the Sat - Monday in NSW Chatswood & Parramatta, but we'll see how it goes, I'm training in Brawl though atm, damn wii-mote only controls we may actually have to use!

Good news Brawl players! I just got an email from Nintendo about the Tour.
Smash Bros Brawl Competition:
Main Rules
• Registered competitors will be chosen randomly to battle in 4 player matches.
• Players can choose from all available control methods, Wii Remote, Wii Remote and Nunchuk, Classic Controller and GameCube Controller.
• Players will have 30 seconds to choose their character.
• The game settings may change for the finals.

Awesome, I'm terrible without the gamecube controller. I might actually stand a chance now.

I might make an appearance at the Saturday Southland even in Melbourne provided Scythian Reaper goes or if I can convince one of my friends to go. I’m not going to compete but I like going to these events and it’s a good chance to make contacts within Nintendo Australia *thinks ahead for possible employment after graduating at the end of the year*
