haha people get so worked up over a game they issue death threats, jeez. Well I guess some people also complained about the reduced breast size of female characters in Age of Conan recently that the developers were forced to issue an apology as well. Just shows some people really get worked up over games.

Times like these are the only times I think to myself "no wonder JT goes on about video games the way he does". I mean seriously, grow up you pathetic losers.Now there's been times when I've been playing a game that's REALLY pissed me off and I've said some bad things about how developers should kill them self.But I don't honestly mean it and I don't go sending cowardly death threats.

That's quite disappointing. Especially considering that one would think that puzzle games fans are generally wiser than most gamers.

I still remember the Forge debacle with Heroes of Might and Magic 3, where an expansion pack was largely done due to death threats.

It's a very, very big blemish on our global society that many people still think the best way to keep things done is to hold a person's life at ransom.

^The difference being that Oblivion had so many modding tools that it was almost quicker to mod-fix the bugs yourself than to orchestrate a serious death threat

Seriously though, whoever is enough of a **** to do something like sending a threat of any kind, should be hunted down and removed from the human gene pool. We have enough wars and death over REAL issues without these piss-poor excuses for humans threatening violence over a GAME.

A more ironic question would be to ask how many death threats Rockstar received which demanded them to stop making such violent games. My bet is that plenty of people are hypocritical enough to do something like that, sadly. :/

I'm not going to enter into the whole debate about capital punishment here (though I should say I'm not particularly in favor of it, in case my post gave you the wrong impression. My self-reflexive sarcasm is sometimes so ingrained that I forget to point it out). Suffice it to say that whoever sends death threats about a game is sufficiently pathetic that I don't particularly care what happens to them, as long as they don't try and fulfill said threat.
