Hey guys, anyone playing this? I was thinking i'd have to wait for Majesco's Blastworks, but I'd love to know how it is as i'm mighty tempted after all the nice videos and great (8/10 minimum) reviews, and JB's price of $65 on release. Good as the internets says in real life?

I played this before sending it off to our reviewer this morning, it really is a very solid game, it's one of those games that seems shallow 15 minutes in, but after an hour it's got you hook line and sinker.

I'm buying for sure. When's the AU release date? Wikipedia says EU May 9th. Is that the same for Aus?

If so I'll pick it up Saturday.

not listed in weekly releases, but the aus release list puts it as the 8th when you add the recent releases option. either way, it should be in the stores by tommorrow. I think they've been stupid to release it at the same time as wiifit and just after gta4 and mariokart wii, not getting enough attention and people are all broke allready icon_razz.gif

This game is gonna be one of those sleeper hits I believe. There is a small but devoted crowd that is going to support it, and I hope to be one of them soon. I would think this game is a game that I can really get into.

"Oh, oh, aah, OOOOOH!"

It’s probably going to rely off word of mouth. Its hard to market a game like this on a large scale. My guess is the plan of attack is to release now and let the word of mouth spread.

After all, I was interested but not super interested in the title. I completely forgot it was due to release. Suddenly, its right around the corner, and reviews are praising it. Thus my interest peaked.

So yeah, I agree with joejoe. I reckon it will be more of a sleeper hit.

Still, releasing a month or so later might have been a bit smarter.

I thought the game looked pretty cool but those little bloom dudes were really pissing me off after watching a trailer. I rekon ti would have been cooler if they hadn't done all the cartoony stuff with it.

Great game. People might get turned off by the "low budget" feel of the game, but the physics engine and the different blocks involved within the puzzles make for a very engaging puzzle game.

The controls are pretty much spot on. No need to wrestle with the controls at all. The physics engine meshes so well with the tightly programmed controls that controlling the game becomes second nature and allows you to fully focus on the craziness they throw on-screen. Not since Eledees has there been a great use for the Wiimote.

Good stuff and I've only played very little of it.

Great game so far. A friend and i played this on multi for a couple of hours. All the modes held up pretty well but the clear winners were jenga and throw the ball and the point blocks. The second one got quite hectic as it became a race to topple the stack and whoever toppled it was the clear winner. Great purchase for $64 at JB.

i feel like the controls are pretty bad, after i throw a block, i have to move the remote around a lot before it actually picks it back up and starts moving around on screen again, it's killing me on these defense levels and im really getting annoyed

I bought this the other day. But it sucks, the EB I went to had 1 copy, and it wasn't even properly on the shelf, it was in the middle of a pile of games. So this game won't sell well to the casual market, as they won't see it. Target didn't have any copy's either. No where did!!
