Just heard of some managers of game stores who were at an important ea distribution meeting, there is a good chance that it continues to be a hassle, Ea will just not distribute the game in Australia in the end... Though if it is released in the UK it will still be compatible on 360 anyway, though the import costs and stuff would send it rocketing to around $420... anyway it is looking bad in terms of a rock band release, fingers crossed guys

I'm not surprised about this in the slightest. Thanks for the news.
Well importing the 360 version from the UK is definitely out of the question considering the rock band bundle is 180 pounds - which is about $400 not including shipping. add on $100 of shipping at least I think.
I know cduniverse.com are doing it for about $180 for the PS3 bundle but then you have to tack on $160 shipping. I haven't seen anywhere else for cheaper.
With downloadable songs you can just create a virtual credit card with entropay.com - which will let you create an american visa card.

I've been waiting for rock band for ages now ='(. If it doesnt come, ill be forced to import it and pay about $100+ for shipping.
Australia sucks...
