Hey guys,
I've managed to find a good deal on the UK version of GTA 4 at

I didn't want the edited version, nor the NTSC version (in case of region locking in multiplayer, not sure if there is or not) so I wanted a PAL unedited one. It ended up costing around AU$74 from this guy on eBay.
Not sure if it will help anybody or not, just thought that sharing is caring!

Has it been confirmed yet that the UK version is uncensored? I remember Rockstar "confirming" a while back that AU was getting it fully uncut. What a crock... I wouldn't be surprised if this guy didn't know yet if this game is uncut in the UK or not and just using the recent ground-shaking news of GTA IV's status in Australia to sell an item like hotcakes...
Anywho, I will never buy from a Hong Kong seller.

They've ripped me off in the past. Plus I never want to own anything with Japanese, Chinese etc writing all on the packaging (I know they usually say english, I don't want the risk if they lie or screw up) and don't like buying from people with plenty of complaints about slow postage.

I see where your coming from, but for that price, i'd still be happy with the NTSC version. You won't be getting a Japanese or Hong Kong version as the games aren't released in that region as of yet, so you'll still be getting an English version. Postage is postage, out of the thousands of people who have bought of him, only a few have complained about postage so that seems hardly the issue.

Im still gonna get my AUS pre ordered copy & LOVE it.
In 2 weeks time we shall know whats cut.
If its worth getting a uncensored import copy ill just buy a import when im ready.
The AUS release will surely please ALOT of people me thinky. 
Bring on the 29th.

To be honest, i'm sure not much has been cut, if anything siginificant that would detract gameplay. I've just been in love with the series since playing the GTA1 demo to death years ago so I just want the game as it was intended.
And I guess it's a bit of a f#$@ you to the South Australian Attorney General, Michael Atkinson who thinks he knows what's best for me and my country.

I got the US PS3 version for $65 at play-asia including postage.
I used a $10 off coupon which you should be able to find pretty easy with google.
Im still surprised that people want to pay $150 for the special edition - but each to their own i suppose.
- i suppose the region locking in multiplayer could be a problem - so we'll have to see.
