Deadly Creatures Preview by Luke
Wii Preview: It's creepy, it's crawly... it's deadly. But how's it looking so far?

I'm intrigued by the game, it certainly could be that sleeper hit. I loved the way you talked about it in the second paragraph, but what kind of game structure would you compare it to? Is it more of a traditional level structure ie: A to B, or is it more open ie: A to B but continues to C to D?

Interesting, this could definitely be a winner. It's interesting in that it sounds like, on paper, any other sort of 3d brawler, but I think the setting itself will make the game fresh, and a cut above your standard human brawler, just for the sheer thrill of watching insects and arachnids battle it out.

Of course, when I initially saw the title I had the old Microsoft educational title in my mind and was wondering if there was a remake of that in the works... that was fun.

It's more of a traditional structure from what I could tell, but we did only experience a couple of levels, and they were the beginning ones. It seems like it would have the opportunity to branch out when the space you're playing in becomes larger in terms of 'what do I do next?', but we were tunnel-bound for the preview itself, so we'll have to wait and see I guess! icon_smile.gif I hope that sort-of-somewhat answers your question.

This is all very well, but now I can't look at the front page, as I'm horribly arachnophobic. icon_razz.gif

Thanks, that did. I guess we have to wait and see how exactly the game will flow.
