I don't think Atari really care about it. I mean, they are obviously working flat out to lock down June 12 for MGS4, so The Essential Collection is probably an afterthought right now. _________________

i only just found out about this release, and the 30 dollar price tag on amazon.com got me really excited.
i dont have the substance or subsistence versions of the games and man this collection would've been a convinient release!

Well Pigster if you REALLY wanted to get it, I would recommend you:
Buy Swapmagic or some other thing like that to play NTSC Games. (Only costs $10-30 USD)
I have something like that and its really good, in the end if this were to hit pal shores since Australias games are so overpriced Swapmagic + MGS Collection would probably be the equivalent to MGS collection being sold here.
But yeah being released here would be convenient, I dont have the subsistance versions. _________________ xfire = andylulz

I have Twin Snakes for cube, MGS2 and 3:Subsistance which came with the MSX games, so I consider myself set.
It's worth noting that swap magic will not work with this entire set as that disc is only for PS2 games and the MGS1 in this set is a real PSone disc from what I've heard. Also: Twin Snakes is better... I know people disagree, but thats how I feel lol. _________________

alacy i disagree with almost everything you said yes mgs1 has a PS1 disk , i own all mgs games exspect for the 2 card games the msx games that came with sub wont be in this collection and yep sawp will ownly work for 2 of them but i want it cz im thinking of getting a few JPN imports and twin sankes yes better GFX but its over the top come on they make it seem like the matrix jumping of a missile and a wall how ever some day i will play it and it will be for the new stuff .

^Wow come on I had to read through that twice to get what you are saying, use sentence and structure at least if you are gonna flood it with typos.
Anyway you say something that will cost you an arm and leg? Mate do you know what our exchange rate is at the moment?
Its practically equivalent to USD, trust me if this were released here , retail price I gurantee will be $60 AUD Minimum, and the combined cost of swap magic + MGS Pack would be like $50-$70 USD. The differences aren't great, in fact they are almost the same so I don't know what your saying it'd cost you an arm and leg. _________________ xfire = andylulz
