Fingers crossed for this release, I never got to play it back in the day, but heard so much about it. If those screens are legit, it looks to be a great game.
Multiplayer sounds promising too, like Goldeneye source without the horrendous lag from foreign servers. _________________

Even if it does somehow get released, im sure it will be a massively delayed release in Australia anyway just like anything else..

My own understanding is that this is a project that once existed, but is now thoroughly canned. It's actually pretty cheap journalism from Xbox 360 World, if you ask me. Mind you, cheap journalism is precisely what I'd expect from the same group that spawned CVG.
Anyway, as I've said elsewhere, I'm pleased this isn't coming out on XBLA. Some games are better left in the past, and I believe Goldeneye - frigging brilliant as it was in 1998 - to be one of those titles.

Well I think that news; debunked or true, still has a right to be presented to the public for digestion. Why be bias in what is shown? Plus, a little speculation is always fun
I tell you though. Those screenshots look damn fine! If GoldenEye was re-released, i'd certainly scoop up a 360 without hesitation. Microsoft are foolish for not doing what it takes finance-wise to make this a reality.

Microsoft has to go through Nintendo. Rare is the middle man. It's either was gonna be both VC and XBLA, or none. You're not gonna have it on one platform and not on the other. _________________

Agreed. All im saying though is money talks, and MS is made of it. If anyone could make this happen, it's them.

This better be released. I loved it on N64 (even though I played it a bit late) I wouldn't mind playing its great multiplayer online! _________________ XBOX Live Lord Halo Nerd1
