The news says that the Final Fantasy Anniversary editions of I and II are coming out in Australia in February. I'm just wondering what stores are stocking it, so I can preorder it (I live in WA). The EB Games website has no news about the PSP versions of Final Fantasy I & II, so are they going to stock it? If not, what other store will stock it? _________________ I'm a gamer girl - I play games, not consoles!

I am sorry but are you sure that you're looking at the correct site? As if you go to EB Games AU PSP site you'll see that they list both titles that you're after for $49.95 on the 7th of feb.
On the off chance that they change their promotional products on the main page;
Final Fantasy Anniversary Edition
Final Fantasy 2 Anniversary Edition
Outside of this, GamesWarehouse has the titles for $44.95 each pre order, although this is an online retailer but figured if you want to save $10.

That's BS how they separate it and make you pay for each one.
No worries I got the PS and GBA ports as well though.

You don't have to be tied to getting/waiting for the Australian editions of these either, even the Japanese versions can be played in English. _________________

Squeenixie did the same with the Star Ocean PSP remakes with Star Ocean First Departure coming separate to Star Ocean Second Evolution (which arguably hasn't even come out anywhere yet) instead of remaking both (as Tri Ace & TOSE are producing both under Squeenixie and Production I.G will do artwork on both titles as well) it would seem that they just want to milk the franchises instead of producing a compilation.
And likewise, I have the PS & GBA ports as well so this doesn't concern me as much, I just figured that if Star ocean which was arguably an Enix production (the more credible of the 2) wouldn't do a combination package then there was little chance that Square would with the FF series. Also why i added in the price discrepancy from what limited browsing I did, as $100 for 2 PSP games that have been remade 3x now might be asking a bit much for some people.

Jeepers... I know I didn't just 'miss' that. The listing must have come up sometime after I posted. Thanks, ppl! _________________ I'm a gamer girl - I play games, not consoles!
