Whether extravagant, or sentimental.. To you, what's your most prized possession?

For me, it would have to be nostalgic.. Cannon Fodder on SNES, not for it's cost, because it isn't worth squat.. simply for the fact that it's very sentimental. How great a game it was ~

Complete boxed copy of Chrono Trigger - while not terribly rare, it is easily my most valued game. <3 CT.

Superman 64.

mostly as an extravagance, since i bought it on the premise that it's the worst game ever made, but apparently it's quite rare these days too, and that could potentially add to it's value.

With the exception of the LEGO games, I own every Star Wars game released on the GCN, and the Zelda collector's disc. That's all I really think of as rare/sentimental in my collections, although I'm sure there are more when I look at my N64 and original game boy games.

Just my Ocarina of Time - my most anticipated game ever and it didn't disappoint - so sentimental.

Out of all the Nintendo games I currently have in my collection, seven Nintendo GameCube to be exact, is my NTSC copy of Phantasy Star Online Episodes I & II Plus. Normally I avoid role playing games and I always avoid massive multiplayer titles, but the Phantasy Star series had that special essence. To this day I still wonder what it is, but it's probably the sci-fi theme.

It may not be old but the Collector's Edition is my most valuable too. Love it! I had to buy TWO games I didnt want to get it, because they had Twin Snakes on the list of acceptable games but took it off before the promo began!!

It WAS Golden Sun, I've finished it many times over. But in between my brother stealing my GBA games and moving house, it got lost. I'm not too happy about it.

In terms of rarity and price:
- Conkers Bad Fur Day (complete)
- Banjo Tooie (complete)
- MGS Twin Snakes (complete)
- Super Scope (Fully boxed, no parts missing, mint cond)
- Megaman 3 (complete)
- Mario Brothers Game & Watch (Immaculate condition, 100% working order)
I think I have rarer ones but I would have to go to the rarity guide website to check them.

Sentimental Value
- Double Dragon 2 (NES)
- Top Gear (SNES)
- Super Mario Land (SNES)
- Duck Tales (NES)

And yet.....it still seems lacking.

icon_think.gif

But what's missing?I just can't put my trigger finger on it.(heh, j/k charly, not long now eh)

I assumed this thread was going to get the lock treatment as it is so similiar to the gaming collections thread, but it lives to fight on.

Perhaps i should post some/all of my gaming lists(yeah, i catalogue my games in alphabetical order and note the condition of each games cart/box/manual on a scale of 1-5.......that's still cool right?)

P.S. word to ducktales, i danced the jig of jigs when i finally bested that chick dracula duck.

P.P.S. also was it just me who was supremely pissed to find out you couldn't go back to explore the rest of the world after you beat golden sun?

I know Jibbs, I know. I can't describe how much I'd like to see a "Chrono Trigger (SNES, Mint)" in my little list.

*curses*

PS. Not too long at all. I think I'll be all nervous when I finally sit down to play it. *dances a little jig*
