hey just wondering what is the best way to stand the ps3, on its side or sitting upright? i have the wii upright, the 360 on its side to avoid the disc scratching problem plus allowing heat to escape, so what would be best in regards to not scratching the discs or heating the ps3? ive only recently purchased one, thanks guys!

never had the PS3 scratching any discs after 9 months vertical, so it's up to what ever you think looks good. for me, it's gotta be vertical.

thanks mate, i do like the look of standing it vertically obviuosly i need a stand so i may do that. was just worried of disc scratching which really sux with my 360.

The PS3 will stand vertical independently, you don't need to purchase a separate stand. I've had mine both ways.

ive had mine up right since Launch! also never turned it off lol. always stand-by or on since launch.
