And it's about time. Now all I need is a next gen Pokemon Snap made for Wii and I will be set.
Pokemon Snap is one of my favorite titles on N64, so I really couldn't be happier.

This is the first time I've ever wanted a Wii. Pokemon Snap rocked!

May have to buy this game again me thinks. Sounds like a neat update. Would have loved wii-mote functionality though. _________________

Put plain and simply (and in slightly outdated language) this is rad.
Back in the day I passed it off as a game I couldn't be bothered even trying. One of my friends got it recently on the N64 and playing it over at his house was like being 10 again and going over to someone's house, playing a game, and upon returning home wishing you could go back there and play it some more. _________________ www.redkingsdream.com

A few days ago I went over to my mates place and we were playing around with a few N64 games. He had Poke'mon snap and we were playing it for a while. It's a great game and a Wii version of the game could turn out to be excellent. Using the remote to change the perspective of the photographer or leaning forwards or backwards to lean out of the buggy. The original didn't feature all of the Poke'mon(73(?)/151 at the time) so a Wii version could build upon the previous count. _________________

Surefire purchase if it's released here. It was an awesome game and I wish they'd do an updated version.
The news that you'll be able to transfer snapshots to the Wii Message Board is especially awesome. They need to build features like this into more games. _________________

This is a must purchase for me imo I use to love this game when i was young. Transferring the snapshots to the wii message board ftw imo.
On Another Note when this game came out for the N64 did anyone think damn it would be awesome for them to make a rpg game on Nintendo 64. I would of loved a game like on the game boy but on n64 one can dream _________________

This is great news!
I remember the days when Uncle Pete's used to sell video games & had the Pikachu limited edition N64 outside where people could stop & play (mind you the controllers were massively cracked/broken etc.), 2 games i recall were Donkey Kong 64 (demo version) & Pokemon Snap
I loved that game but never got round to owning it on N64...
Now is my chance
Like the idea of Wii-functionality, but yeah would have liked Wiimote playability...

Im feeling a little old here I guess as I dont see what's so awesome about the game? Mind you, ive never played it but am not really into the whole Pokemon thing. I owned Pokemon Red when it first came out all those years ago, but ive kinda outgrown it I guess.
As others have said, its great to see Nintendo going the extra mile with added functionality. Thumbs up!
Ive never played Donkey Kong 64 and welcome the day that arrives! Id LOVE to get my hands on that. Also the brilliant Excite Bike 64.

I often been heard to remark that a Wii sequel would be fantastic for Pokemon Snap. The pointer functionality would suit it perfectly, throw apples, pester balls etc with a flick of the nunchuck. And as you said, the Wii could also solve my biggest problem with the first game, too few 'mons and not long enough. _________________ "Never cheat a mate, and never give a sucker an even break.
