Man I always think what a missed opportunity this game is...it's absolutely gorgeous but motion controls? Why you fools? I used to have a lot of respect for Factor 5 but none of that exits anymore especially after this:

Good review, Jeremy. It was nice to be able to read level-headed explanations of the pros and cons of the game. _________________ PSN ID: Flameforge

I couldn't help but think "rumble is a last generation feature!" there.
I've actually always wanted to play this, despite the controls. The story for the game sounds cool, and I've always been a fan of the Rogue Squadron games (except the on foot bits in Rebel Strike... *shudder*). It seems so strange that it took so long for the game to come out here, it feels like forever since the game came out overseas...

I'm not going to make a big fuss over this review, everyone is entitled to their own opinion after all, but saying "that motion does nothing to enhance the experience" is utter crap imo. I think it really gives the game a natural feel, it's great to be able to watch your on-screen dragon follow your real life movements. It just wouldn't be the same with an analogue stick. I'm also surprised at the comment about unresponsive face buttons, I've never had an issue with them at all. The advantage of playing with dragons is the fact that they can physically fight, and be engaged in the rather cool takedowns. _________________

^ When every review i've read complains of these exact same problems i'd wager it's substantial and needs working on.
Personally I don't think motion controls add to any game, imo they take away a lot of control and timing.
Why do you always stick up for the crap ads? Like you know which games are good and which ones aren't but you only seem to be into/buying the crap ones. Seriously buy a good game and you might agree with these reviews for once. Like instead of buying Resistance Fall of Man and Motorstorm you go and buy Full Auto 2 and Genji and then you complain the reviews for those 2 are bad when honestly the only thing bad is your choice of games. _________________

Come on, you can hardly blame me for my own taste in games, everyone is different you know. Would you go out a buy a game that doesn't appeal to you? Of course not. Therein lies the reason why I didn't buy either of those games and instead opted for what interested me. I've bought plenty of games that I've considered "good" (the majority of my games actually), but not all of them have been popular critically (Lair being one of them). Would I stick up for a game if I thought it was crap? Hell no. If I think it's better than it's being made out to be, then of course I will.
Speaking of reviews, the only one of the two that I recall commenting on was the Motorstorm one which I though was somewhat biased at the time, but that was probably just me feeling sour that Full Auto 2 did so badly, it happens. You know that saying I only buy the "crap" games is untrue, I also buy most of the ones that are considered "good" as well, it's just that the fact seems to be that some of my gaming choices are unpopular with most of the gaming community, and I can't help that, it's who I am. Just because my choice of games is somewhat unpopular, doesn't mean it's bad. _________________

We're so not getting into another debate on Admeister's game tastes... they're his tastes. That's it.

Stop being like me with Shadowrun admeister. Nobody likes an old record.
I'd have given this a go if it wasn't for the 'shitaxis' only controls. _________________ Shin J Leon.

Yea sorry ads didn't mean to pick on ya, but the universal opinion seems to be that it doesn't control well/very responsively and that's something that will keep me away no matter how good it looks.
Honestly I do want to try it....it's just those damn motion controls. _________________

Good review Jeremy, it's an honest take, and you at least didn't have to buy the game, and just borrowed it off me
From a personal perspective, I find the game very enjoyable. It does have flaws, where sometimes the controls may not respond appropriately, and there are some huge frame rate dips, but for what the game was I enjoyed it immensely, and I personally could play it through again.
That being said though, after playing 6 hours of Crysis...this game looks very very bland _________________
