As TheAnswer does...
Disclaimer: I do not work for Krispy Kreme, just thought people might be interested. I mean, who doesn't like free doughnuts?

There is a bit of a fanatical cult following for these doughnuts at my work. Being that there is no store in SA, if someone just "happens" to be in Sydney, they are instructed to buy a box of these doughnuts. So if someone is on their way back from Sydney, they have to buy the doughnuts, come back to Adelaide airport, travel to work FIRST to deliver the doughnuts, then go home or where ever they go.
I tried my first (and possibly last) Krispy Kreme doughnut this year. As I try not to eat overly saturated products with sugar (except Chocolate!), the doughnut made me fill a bit ill. It could also have been that it was a hot day and the doughnuts had melted a bit. My coworkers didn't seem to care, they just gobbled them up...

My last Krispy Kreme experience wasn't the greatest...Dad brought some home from a trip to Sydney (afaik we don't have these shops in Bris). So I ate a few and it was awesome. I left a few of them in the box for later, but when I went to grab some, a freaky gecko had been sitting all over them.
I still ate them. SALMONELLA POISON'D

i've never actually had Krispy Kreme doughnuts, but i'm a fan of every doughnut i have tried, so i doubt these will be any different.
the fact they spell "Doughnut" correctly also helps their cause.
( because i'm aware how badly they've spelt the rest of their name.)
although "Crispy" and "Cream" are hardly 2 words i'd ordinarily consider working well together. _________________

*puts on Flame-retardant Codpiece*
I've only had these things a few times, but each and every time, I've been bitterly disappointed by the things. Maybe my expectations of them were set astronomically high after the massive guerilla marketing campaign they threw at my uni last year, which had so many people talking about the impending KK store* I could've sworn everyone was paid to talk about them AS LOUD-LY AND ANN-OY-ING-LY as humanly possible. Maybe it's the min. $2 admission price for one basic doughnut, especially considering I'm used to paying 70c for a quality Jam doughnut at the local train station. Maybe it's my stance on climate change.
Either way, it tasted good, but not worthy of the golden shiny milk crate everyone puts the brand on.
* They've opened one up in Knox, VIC. Would that make that particular store Krispy Kreme Knox, or to translate it for the cool young hip abbreviating kids out there, The KKK? _________________ Level 3 | News Hit | Twitter

I used to love them but last time I had them they were just far too rich and I didn't feel very well afterwards. Haven't had them in well over a year now.
Thanks though! _________________

Done, if I can be bothered trekking in to get them on that day. Does the preferred store have to be the one you claim at? I just realised if it's a Sunday I'd be going to the one near home, not work and uni.
On a sidenote, they've been expanding quite a lot in Sydney. A year or two ago there were none anywhere near hear, now there's 3 within a 15minute drive. _________________

Hmm after reading through the email it seems these aren't as free as they seem. Gold coin donation for each doughnut which goes to the Salvation army. Still a pretty good deal and at least the money will be going to a good cause. If i remember on that day I'll go to the one down the road, make my donation and get my "free" doughnuts _________________

According to the email it states you can use the voucher at any of their stores, all you have to do is print the email out and take it in. _________________ RIP Buddha 19/10/1952 - 03/01/2004

These things are basically sugar mixed with a bit of dough to hold it together. |
Dont forget they are cooked in boiling oil to lubricate your arteries.

Only one in Sydney I know of is at the Airport First time I saw one was earlier this year in Melbourne, Apparently there's one near work at the QVB though, so may have to try one and see if they live up to the sugary goodness. _________________

^ Yeah, that Sydney airport store was where I got my first taste of the stuff. I been hooked ever since but Melbourne didn't have any stores at that time so I had to endure a bit of a wait. _________________

They're expanding here bigtime. In the last 18 months or so they've opened at Chatswood, Macquarie and Hornsby, all within a 15minute drive of each other. They seem like little franchises. _________________

Yeah they are, although I would personally be keen to get in on one of them because it seems the company is growing massive here. Last year I went to Sydney and experienced my first 'krispy kreme' doughnut and waited for it to come to Melbourne. When the first store opened I waited 40 minutes for a doughnut, but now they are everywhere, 2 within 15 minutes for me.
