yeah, the rolling has been my only problem so far, although, the way link runs in this game, im not sure if its needed, seriously, if they were going to have a race with all the links, this one would win hands down...unless, you know, majora's link did that whole goron thing... _________________

The game is better then expected. The stylus controls are 99% perfect. The Wind Waker world has been crafted so beautifully. The game feels very fresh, especially when going to the Phantom temple where you have to stealth around. I'm loving it! _________________

Got mine today.
I've played the first hour maybe and I'm really not too sure where this is going to end. Graphically the game looks absolutely outstanding and it's incredible to see some of the animation displayed in the cutscenes. But by God is the game fairly simple. I'm only early into the game, but the game does a job of guiding you through puzzles and telling you pretty much what to do - so the challenge diminishes a bit.
They've also taken away a lot of the familiar and classic Zelda tunes and replaced them with, in my opinion, worse choices. The classic chest opening and receiving and item tune is gone!
Controls are fairly nice. I love the idea of being able to write on the map, it's been helpful in areas and I'd only imagine be even more helpful later on. But I'm still unsure about how the game uses the stylus to attack and role; both have been fairly annoying so far.
I'm not sure yet. Hopefully I'll have some more time tonight to put some hours into it. From opinions I've heard the game is fairly simple and short, so not too sure where this game will be placed. Stunner of a game visually, mind you. _________________

The third boss is really clever hey joejoe, such a clever idea. This game does well to make use of all the DS's functions.
Definatly a HUGH complaint about the game is the temple of the Ocean King. It's like Nintendo enjoy to gimp their Cel Shaded Zelda games; first the tri-force hunt and now this!
here's a review of the game I think is worth reading. While I'm not finished yet and would definatly, definatly give the game higher than a 7.5, I agree with most of the things in the review. Allthough my main dissapointments (and those in the review) are probably because it's a portable game running on a system with not so much power. (Except for the Temple of the Ocean King, that's just stupid). _________________

Also picked up the game. It does feel a little basic and straight forward but its still one of the top games on the DS. I'm loving the gameplay's use of the stylus it all works together very well and especially the use of the map, something so small but so useful - writing everything down on the map makes everything so much easier to remember now, especially good for games like Zelda with so many puzzles.
The graphics are stunning, when I saw my mates copy of the game it was on his Phat and it looked amazing but when I first loaded it up on my Lite my gosh it looked pretty, I was totally drawn in. Its very easy to loose track of time when playing this game and its also easy to forget your playing a portable game, its really that good.
Oh but yeah I really hate the Temple of the Ocean King, its so annoying and feels like a filler each time you go back there :/ _________________

Finished th game. I didn't watch many videos or read reviews prior to release and found myself thoroughly enjoying the latest installment in the Zelda series. This game and Rocket slime have been my two favorite titles on the DS. Lineback has to be one of my favorite characters in the Zelda universe (up there with Midna) the humor he offers in the game is so refreshing. My only dice with the game is the difficulty or lack of, however, i still loved the gameplay and thought that Nintendo made excellent use of the little handhelds capabilities. If you like Zelda you will LOVE this game, treat yourself and buy buy buy! _________________

I picked this up today but I haven't played it yet. I also picked up a white DS Lite, on which I noticed some apparent minor alterations to older versions (unless I'm mistaken).
This makes DS number three for me for anyone counting. I keep selling the things, and then wanting them back. _________________

my sentiments exactly, i LOVE linebeck, and nintendo has really upped its final boss battles from previous games, the last battle is on a stage of epicness like windwaker's (which i thought storywise and character development wise was a better game than TP), thats all ill say.
oh, and when ciela first called "hey!" my heart jumped, good memories _________________

Ouch, that sucks man. I can't get my copies and gold cases (I ordered 2 copies, one for me, one for my buddy Ben) today as I've got an exam tomorrow (bummer), so I'm going to get it tomorrow arvo (*after* said exam). _________________ I'm a gamer girl - I play games, not consoles!

I chucked in the cart last night and loved the opening. I love the way the music is the same yet slightly different from Wind Waker. The game oozes with charm and I cannot wait to play it over the weekend. This is Nintendo magic. I always get a 'special' feeling when I play a Nintendo great game. _________________ Shin J Leon.

I pre-ordered my copy at eb so i could do the trade deal and didn't care too much for the chest as i thought it would just be another piece of junk. But for some reason, now that i have it, i think its probably the coolest accessory i own. About to give the game another crack now. Only played it for about 1 1/2 last night but so far am very impressed what they have pulled off on the ds hardware. I wish more developers put in this much effort with their titles.
