I've been noticing lately that my Wii Remote is taking a little more to make respond and, while the rumble is turned on, I barely ever feel it and when I do it's like a low hum. With the warranty running out in December, should I be contacting Nintendo about repair/replacement, or should I just forget about it?

1. Tried New Batteries?
2. Hit it really hard. Seriously. It worked for me. _________________

Maybe a dumb question, but is sunlight interfering between you and the sensor bar? _________________

It isn't a new problem, and I've been having it through quite a few sets of batteries.
There is a window which the light from intersects with the space between the 'mote and the sensor bar, but there is a thick curtain which covers it whenever I'm playing video games. Would it really affect it that much?

I don't think it would affect it that much cause there's always light coming through my window when i play. Have you ever dropped it or threw it by accident? Or is there any infra-red or other bluetooth devices operating near the wiimote? _________________

window could effect the infrared but it wouldnt effect the rumble at all, sounds to me like it might have died. _________________ yay!

I have a phone which is often in the room with me when I'm playing video games, and It has bluetooth on all the time.
I treat my stuff well, the biggest impact the Wiimote has had is being thrown on my bed.
Nintendo's offices are only like half an hour drive for me, so It wouldn't be that much of a hassle, maybe I should call them.

try turning your phones bluetooth off when you're playing, although i guess that wouldn't cause your rumble to screw up... _________________
