I’m pretty psyched about this and wanted to see if anyone else from here was going. For those who don’t know, it’s a concert. A concert featuring 3 awesome metal bands – Arch Enemy, Trivium, and Machine Head.
For me, Arch Enemy only caught my ear with “Anthems of Rebellion”. When I first heard “We Will Rise”, I automatically knew it was awesome (while also wondering if the singer was actually female). Their next album, Doomsday Machine, is my favourite from them. “Nemesis” is one of the greatest metal songs ever written!
I’ve liked Trivium from early on, but couldn’t get enough of them after Ascendancy. There’s not a song on that entire album that doesn’t rock hard. Their newer stuff is good too, but I hope their set consists mainly of stuff from Ascendancy.
Didn’t mind Machine Head for many years, but they were never my favourite band, until “The Blackening” was released. They’re still not my favourite, but any metal fan needs to grab this album immediately! I just wanna hear “Halo” played in all its glory!
So, anyone else going? Here’s some motivation:

Halo – Album ver. song only

Halo – Good live version

Rain – My favourite Trivium song.

I've got my ticket, but I'm only going for Arch Enemy and to heckle Trivium. Apparently Shadows Fall are on the bill too, who I don't mind.
I'm much more looking forward to Festival of the Dead though. And Gigantour for the Lacuna Coil factor.
EDIT: Hopefully Arch Enemy play more of their pre-Angela stuff, they only played 2 pre-Angela songs when I saw them last year _________________ SIGNATURE REMOVED - Luke

Even though I'd love to go I'm actually giving this one a miss, don't quite have the funds at the moment, if there is still tickets in a couple of weeks, then I'll go but there's a lot of other gigs I need to attend that I'm more interested in.
Gigantour for one. Lacuna Coil live is going to be spectacular. That's all I'm going for, Static-X are great but I've seen them plenty of times before.

Yeah, I think they only jump on when it hits Europe, but I’m not sure. They rock too.
And you don’t like Angela? She’s pretty full-on – it took me a while to get used to her – but from what I remember, their earlier stuff was even heavier and less melodic? I've only heard very little though.
And a question for all – anyone know if Coil are coming to Adelaide? I was planning Gigantour for ages now but still don’t know if they’re coming down here. Static-X are worth the price alone, but Coil has been one of my favourite bands for years now and I’m a little short on the monies too! Then again, if it were Coal Chamber instead of Devil Driver I’d be at the gate already.

Quite the contrary, she has a much better voice than their first vocalist. It'd just be nice to hear a few more songs from their first three albums played live next time, in particular, Pilgrim, Diva Satanica and Siverwing.
As far as I'm aware, every band on the Aussie leg of the tour will play every city. But don't quote me on that _________________ SIGNATURE REMOVED - Luke

Heh, nah, no probs man. Cheers anyway.
Yeah, I’ve heard Diva Satanica – it rocks – and I’m sure the other stuff will too. They’ve got talent, and are definitely good live from what I’ve seen. Can’t wait!
