Nope. Old Pokemon only had IV's ranging from 1-15, while new ones have 1- 31. That, plus the whole nature thing, made it to hard for Game Freak to pull off.
Or something.

Correction
RBY had 0-15,
all the more recent games (including GSC) had 0-31.
I guess they never figured out a way of transferring GSC Pokémon to RSE _________________

Well I finally went and checked a guide on the internets to find out why I couldn't get decent chains and realised that going to bush right next to you WASN'T a good idea. So I got a chain up to 13 and then waht do I do? Walk out of the grass and lose it. D'OH.
EDIT: Well I didn't want to double-post so I shall put my dillema here.
For some reason when I have been chaining for some reason as I am walking to the next bush my chain just disapears. It happened the other day when I had a chain of 13 Swellow and the pokemon in the bush I walked into was a Swellow and the same thing happened today with a chain of 26 Pachirisu. I was just wondering if anyone here had any idea why this might be happening. _________________

Darkrai isn't that good. He has awesome sp. att, but his defence is so poor that one hit from basically any Pokemon and he's dead.
Arceus is awesome though. 120 base stats, able to learn basically any move, able to change types. With he could hold 2 types, so that can you duel type him.

Holy Crap!
Just HATCHED, not caught, hatched a shiny slowpoke!
I thought his colour looked a lil, weird, when he hatched, and lo and behold he's shiny.
First shiny i've ever hatched, he's careful nature, not a nature i particulary wanted, so he's not worth training, but i'll check his ev's anyways...
EDIT-on seconds thoughts, if i evolved it into a physical attacking slowKING,.....then.......yes, careful nature wouldn't be tooooo bad.Hmm, either way, exciting stuff!!! _________________

Hey, Jibbs! I bet that was cool! Nice work!
I've still been using the Pokeradar to catch shinies.
My total all up so far ... is 196. Most of them have been traded.
My latest haul was my best yet ... I caugh 37 shiny Zigzagoon!
So, if anyone wants a little shiny Pickup Zigzagoon, tell me. lol
EDIT: And I'm just trying to chain Teddiursa as we speak ... proving a little difficult.
I also should say I recently leveled up my first level 100 Pokemon, an Electivire. He's so cool! _________________

@Jibbs: He means a table of the items you can get throug the pickup abaility.
Here ya go. http://www.serebii.net/diamondpearl/pickup.shtml
It doesn't start giving you really good items until about level 60 onwards.
I was also wondering if anyone could answer my noobish question on what a STAB move is? _________________

STAB=same type attack bonus.
Stab moves are moves that are the same type as the pokemon using them(like charizard using flamethrower, both fire type).Flamethrower has a base power of 95, but STAB increases a moves power by 1.5.So a charizard using flamethower will now have an attack rating of approx 142.5 for flamethrower, while a slowbro(type water/psychic) using flamethowr will only be 95. _________________

Grrr..
Important note to take into account guys, one that is not mentioned at all on any fansites and is generally not well known.
You know those berries that lower your ev's??(berries 21-26 HERE
Now everyone knows that feeding one of these berries wil lower any gained ev's in the applicable stat by 10 ev's?Right?
Sort of.
This only applies IF the pokemon has gained up to and including 100 ev's in the stat in question. If the pokemon has more then 100 ev's in this particular stat, the first berry you feed the pokemon will lower the ev's in that certain to a flat 100 ev's, from which point any further berries will lower the stat by 10 ev's per berry.
For example. If i have a dusknoir with 252 ev's in def and hp, and i decide, hey, that's stupid, let's put 126 ev's(252/2) in def AND sp def.All i have to do right is use 13 qualot berries, and then gain an extra 4 def ev's to bring it back up to 126(252-130+4=126), and then go and ev train 126 sp def.Right??
WRONGQRONGWRONGWRTONG
In this particular situation, you would use ONE(just one) qualot berry, which will drop the def ev's to 100, and then you'll have to ev train in def for 26 ev's and then ev train 126 in sp def.
I found out the hard way when i was ev training my slowbro last night and ballsed it up after giving it 244 ev's in hp, and i had to take 20 ev's off hp, so i used a couple of pomeg berries to drop it by 20, little did i know i dropped it by 154 hp ev's!!!
Jesus ev training is complicated. It's an important point guys, don't glaze over it. _________________

When you load up Pokemon, on the screen where you choose your save file, go into the one about wifi settings and follow the instructions for whichever setup (USB Wifi Connector or Wireless router) you have. _________________

Hi everybody
Could use some breeding help.
I've got a male Garchomp with earthquake I want to breed with a female Charizard. Can I hatch a charmander that will know earthquake? Or is it not possible because either a) the mother does not know the move earthquake or b) a charmander can't learn the tm earthquake?

Charmander and evo's can't learn earthquake by tm but more importantly can't learn it by tm.Scoll down to egg moves to see what moves charmander can be given via breeding and what breed the male needs to be.
Female has no effect on the offspring bar the species of the hatchling(and iv's). _________________
