I have a PlayStation, purchased in China (Asian 60gb version) and also have a copy of Motorstorm (believe this is the Hong Kong version).
I have tried playing online, but when attempting to do so...i am shown three servers:
Korean Speaking 0/256
English Speaking 0/256
Chinese Speaking 0/256
Surely something is not right as there should be at least one person playing somewhere in the world. So would it be that I'm connected to a server in China (based on console), or a server in Hong Kong (based on game).
Is it possible to connect to an AUstralian server, if this is the case?

If its like the old online ps2 games the game is hard coded to connect to servers where the game was purchased. Like if you got the aussie version the servers would show AU and EU. I don't believe there is any way to connect to other servers without actually buying another copy of the game from australia/europe. I could be wrong.....

Those servers are dedicated ONLY to other people who are using the Hong Kong version of Motorstorm. Those "english speaking" servers are not the same ones that we connect to on our local AU/EU copy of Motorstorm.
SOLUTION: Buy the Australian version of the game.
