Gladiator - loved that show from the 90s that had Mike Whitney as the referee/host, I even have a Gladiator board-game hidden away somewhere. Don't know if I'd love the show so much today though.
Malcom in the Middle - Great show
Can't think of anything else at the moment, something will pop into my head soon enough though. _________________

Damn canetoad tooks the words right out of my mouth Gladiator was awesome. I loved watching it when i was a kid and if it was still around i would still watch it.
Another Show i loved but got cancelled was Joan of Arcadia. Season 2 was getting so good with the introduction of the devils son and it just ended
Xfiles i would also have to put in the list for the reason of the last ep. It was shocking the last ep never ended anything. Just left it right open
I hate it when show get cancelled and they don't close it. Because i get so into a show _________________

i forgot about Joan of Arcadia. pretty good show that.
one that was better (imo) is Point Pleasant. but it's another series that got canceled before it concluded, so if that annoys you, i'd probably avoid getting too invested in it. it just received a local DVD release too, which is weird since it didn't even make it to Aussie TV.
also: Carnivale.
was originally bought for 6 seasons, but was canceled after 2 - supposedly set in 3 time periods, 1 period per 2 seasons.
i loved the first 2 seasons, and there is (or was) talk of there being a few telemovies to continue the plot to the end. _________________

Xmen- Season 5 left too many questions in the end.
Futurama - It will be back oh yeah it will be back.
A*mazing - A very RAD game show.
Robocop the series - NAH I dont miss it. |
Cut out Xmen and Robocop, add Arrested Development (though I wouldn't want it coming back now - the ending was perfect) and you've got my list.
I loved A*Mazing. _________________

Growing up my favourite show was The Wayne Manifesto.
It was on channel 2 in the afternoons, and man it was good at the time.
Anyone remember it?

Vaguely remember his dad had a massive collection of toilets, and a man in a go-kart covered in tin foil.......I never understood that show.
What was a great show was Johnson and Friends, with Alfred the water bottle, Diesel the 4x4, McDuck the squeezebox, the robot and the dinosaur from the other room _________________

Haha I was thinking about Johnson and friends the other day. Google it on youtube and there's the shows intro.
Was stikin around the one with Scradley? If so that was awesome!
Futurama - all though that will soon be rectified
AD - like Dances said, it finished perfectly, I wouldn't want more episodes now (unless they had never been canceled and had done a 4th season straight away i would be happy as). I like that fact that there is not one bad episode in the 3 seasons, something most shows can't admit.
Amazing was the bomb, that set maze was so cool. And then I think they re-did the maze one year and it was never the same.
Also, Samuri Pizza Cats, Captain planet, Gladiators and definatly Supermarket Sweep!
Shows I wish would go OFF the air: Simpsons RIP. _________________

I loved Duckman back on page 1... i'm really surprised this hasn't been DVDed.
Dr Katz Professional Therapist. This adult cartoon was pure gold. Dr Kats was a pretty bad therapist who councelled patients often voiced by celebs playing paranoid versions of themselves. His secretary was a bitch and his son was a loser. Lots of funny conversational humor and that wacky Squigglevision animation style.
ABC classics:
The Mysterious Cities of Gold. (If this was your afterschool TV, followed by The Goodies we can be friends) I want a giant flying solar powered golden condor!
You Can't do That on Television.
Dangermouse, Duckula, Alias the Jester. Cosgrove Hall made funny British cartoons back in the day.
If the Wayne Manifesto gets a gurnsey so must the Miraculous Mellops: more offbeat Australian kids TV.
Jeez i'm a cartoon junkie.

The cartoon trumped the live action show hands down, IMO. I really wish they'd hurry up and give it a DVD release.

it's been released, just never in English.
i actually ordered it from a site about 5 years ago, but they contacted me and said that it's only in German and French, with no English subs, so i cancelled it.
apparently several people had ordered it, and returned it once they discovered there was no English version.
i think there are about half a dozen people claiming to own the English version now, since DiC is defunct - which isn't improving our prospects of getting it any time soon. _________________
