Don't laugh, that happened to me on lap 38 of an endurance race in Forza 1.

After a couple of long nights and early mornings I finally got to level 30. Arg - I can like hardly see right now  Got about 750k saved up now and I get 50% of European production cars. Any ideas on whats the best cars to buy?

Well thats for the Focus man, it was a nice surprise  . I fixed up the Nintendo on the back though as it was a little out of whack. Now I have 40 cars in my garage, I'll take some more pics soon as I now have a Cobalt SS with Master Chief on it and also a Charger with the General Lee design on it

^ haha No problems, I sent the car to a few people on my list who I thought were deserving Is that the master chief car thats purple? I saw a couple of those but got out bidded so many times!

This one is blue, has MC on the left and right hand sides.

Hi Folks:
I am unsure if I should post my request re the Forza 2 game here. If not, could one of the mods please advise me as I am new to this forum and I will move it or start a new thread.
I have a simple query. Started playing Forza 2 on the weekend and at one stage was gifted the Nissan Tommy kaira Skykine GT-R R34. I cannot access the paintshop with this car and add manufacturer's decals to it.
Is this deliberately done in the game.
Thank you in advance for your reply(ies).

Yeah you can't mess around with the paint on those special cars. It's deliberate to keep the cars matching their name.

Just found out my car is in the game, must have unlocked it a bit later because im in the European region or something... 1 more Manufacturer tournament to go and only 4 more levels to 40! Getting to 50 looks like its going to be a bitch because you have to get like 400k for each new level..

That was one of the first cars I won in the game, I upgraded a few of the parts. Jeez 400k per level ouch! I'm on Level 31 and finding it hard as it is. I'm 3 golds off completing the manufacturers section now after completing the Ferrari races last night.
Haha I got my 1 point Achievement for owning the 2 Korean cars in the game

Just finished the manufacturers section yesterday and finally got to level 40. Im so having a break from the game for a while

Haha Actually its got a 280ZX Engine in it instead of the standard engine. Not sure if its more powerfull because of it? But its a V6 - My dad did it up from scratch when I was really young and he got rid of the mirrors on the bonnet and shifted them back to the normal positioning:

Hi Guys I am relatively new to this forum:
Spanca you just beat me by 10 minutes. I also would like to know if the game has the Bathurst track in it as it is well known internationally. Perhaps it may include other Australian tracks. Anybody knows.
Also, apart from the Monaro (ie Pontiac GTO) any other australian cars in the game.
A query from a friend who has an old open wheeler racer. It would be nice if you could design your own track in this game but it isnot a feature that was provided unlike PGR3. Anybody know of a game that allows a similar level of car tuning adjustments and race in your own track design. He is particulaarly interested in recreating Barbagalo Raceway.
Finally, is it worth posting for the benefit of all what cars were used by gamers to win at each track, what enhancements were bought and tuning settings for all tunable components. Such information would benefit those that may have difficulty conquering certain tracks.
Be interested to hear your comments.

How long does it take to do a completely custom car like that Halo one? Is it a proper pixel-by-pixel drawing thing that takes hours, or just a massive bank of decals? I don't know much about the game to be honest, and I'm just assuming it's a lot harder than it looks.
I might be picking it up myself in a bit though, certainly have it by tomorrow.

There's a few tracks missing actually such as Tokyo, Rio, Alpine Ring (I think that's its name) and indeed the Blue Mountains Raceway. While the new track additions make up for it, I do miss some of these tracks (especially the street circuits) and hopefully we will see their return in DLC.
I do have to say though, I'm not really a fan of the Blue Mountains Raceway so if they are going to bring it back, I'd prefer it if they just gave us the real Bathurst instead. But of course licensing issues may get in the way of that, so who knows.

The Monaro, which is featured in the game as both the Pontiac GTO and the Vauxhall VXR, is the only Australian designed vehicle in the game.

Yeah, it's Mugello Spanca. That third shot also sorta looks like the 'Ring but yeah I believe all 3 are Mugello. You're right now that you have brought it up though, it does look like the Blue Mountains Raceway track quite a bit. Oh well, I didn't like the track anyway. 
I just hope we see the circuits return in DLC and then possibly some new circuits as well.

I hope we get the alpine ring and Tokyo from forza 1. There both tracks i miss in F2, Blue Mountains not so much. It was my most hated track from the original. Maybe if they added in a couple of shorter threads onto it it'd be alright.
I wonder when we'll hear about DLC anyway? Not for awhile i'm guessing but it'd be nice to have an idea of whats coming and what they plan to charge us for it.
