I thought this was the most unevenly paced episode of the series so far. Things just seemed to be coming in from all over the place. It was all very confusing. They didn't really do a good job of explaining just what was going on in the episode. Why did the boss man show up at the end? Why'd he shot Radioactive Man? I take it Mr Bennet staged his daughters abduction by the Haitian? That just popped up in the last moments of the episode with no build up what so ever. It's like the writers had a grand plan for the episode and nowhere near enough time to tell it.

It started off strong but kind of degenerated into that confusing mush rather rapidly. Maybe I should have been paying a little more attention. Still better than most other shows on TV though.

Bennett called his Boss or when Lyle called the police the Boss had the phones tapped or something.

I gather the Boss was trying to kill Radioactive Man to stop him from exploding but obviously that didn't work.

Yes Bennett had planned everything with the Haitian man, if you listened closely to Bennett when he and the Boss were visiting Radioactive man in his cell you would have heard them talking about how the Haitian had hid Claire's abilities from Bennett all this time.

Company man was one of the best episode of heroes. It finally shows us more about Mr Bennet and how he ended up doing his job. Also the scene at the end with him getting shot and his memory taken was very well written. I knew Claire would survive but she looked cool regenerating from he blast. icon_biggrin.gif

UP AND AT THEM

I thought this episode was rather good, and personally I don't think it went too fast. The end in particular didn't seem to come from nowhere to me, in fact just before it was revealed I could see it coming.

Looking forward to seeing more of Hiro's father especially.

I'm surprised to see this thread hasn't been touched in a while. Has the discussion moved onto some other thread?

***SPOILERS***

Anyway, great episode tonight. I love those Peter/Sylar confrontations and tonights battle was no exception. Fire vs Ice? Cool... Peter turned into such a badass. I always knew his character had the most potential to be awesome.

The thing is though, if everything we saw in this episode is part of the alternate future, things will be different once Hiro kills Sylar, if that is to be the case at all. Still, it was cool to see an episode where all the Heroes have had more time to come to terms with their powers.

***/SPOILERS***

3 episodes left. From the reaction the US crowd have given, the final is something of a disappointment. I personally can't see how they could have f**ked it up. The build up so far has been great.

edit: damn, I hope it didn't ruin it for anyone icon_sad.gif

It aired in Victoria tonight. Wasn't the NSW schedule shifted a day back or something? Or was the Prison Break?

Yep, which kinda means your post hints towards spoilers Capoeira but meh, that's not your fault. It's Prime's fault for screwing us around. That's alright though, unlike Prison Break at least Heroes will be on later tonight so we'll all get to see the episode that you're on about.

I thought the future episode was quite dissappointing, as people I know whhere hyping about it, some things were good (Future Hiro) but the ending with Sylar and Peter was a bit weak, we never saw the fight icon_sad.gif Also I don't like future Matt Parker, he's not nice.

He's not 'not nice', he's pretty much in a similar situation to Bennett.

It's a mystery really, they've never explained how he does it. Either he eats them, or just studies them (more likely, remember the book that was found in his house) and the uses his power of understanding to take on new powers.

What are you talking about? It was revealed way back when we met Sylar that his power is the ability to see things and understand them, and thus he cut open their skulls/brains to see how it all works, just like the inside of a watch. Tick tick tick.

Wow, I never actually got that.

In fact I never really got that Sylar was supposed to have a power, I just thought he was supposed to be a loser who spent way to much time looking at clocks, and when he was told he has a power (which apparently turned out to be incorrect) he went nuts and started killing people. Your explanation makes craploads more sense, though.

The wind changed and pulled the bullet back.

Nah, I understand he steals powers, but never bothered to think about how he did it (1. removes head 2. ??? 3. profit), nor did I make any connection with him having the super amazing clock fixing abilities and an actual super power.

Is the ability to slice peoples heads open part of the telekinesis? Remember at the start he smashed that dude over the head to steal his power? If it is part of the telekinesis then he essentially separating peoples skulls from their bodies. Either way its awesome how it makes me cringe every time.

I think he stole someone's ability to point his finger and have an invisible laser cutter come out of his finger. You see when he does it he points at their head and slices a nice clean cut.

i have to disagree, i think it was possibly one of the best episodes yet.

i really liked the whole "what if" thing, how we find out what would've happened if Claire wasn't saved*. if Sylar had gotten her regenerative powers instead of Peter (hence the scar), and how different people ended up in different places because of different choices.

* there was a bit of an issue here though. i can understand Claire potentially surviving, or regenerating from having Sylar poke around in her brain, but i don't see why he would need to do it again.

OMG! Thank you for clearing that up! I was watching the episode wondering how the hell Peter had a scar if he's supposed to regenerate, but I never put 2 and 2 together to work out that the power had been swapped around.

Ok now you got me confused too. I thought the point was that they had hidden claire and that sylar hadn't got to her yet? Thats why he was so happy to find her. But what your saying makes sense too.

yeah, but if that's the case, then why was Sylar able to regenerate when Hiro stabbed him?

that seemed to be the whole reasoning behind Future Hiro's actions, saving Claire in turn denied Sylar her ability, meaning when Hiro came to stab him with the sword, he wouldn't simply shrug it off.

yet here Sylar is, taking her power again?

SPECULATION TIME!
perhaps the Sylar Hiro stabbed was actually Candace (the shape-shifting girl), and it wasn't regeneration that saved Sylar, but the fact that it wasn't Sylar who was stabbed. then when Candace staggers off, Sylar takes her shape-shifting ability.

guess we'll have to wait and see.

^ spoilers possibly

but at the end of the future episode, the president (pertrelli[spl.]) turns out to be sylar, shapeshifted, which means he took it at an earlier point?
