My copy arrived late this arvo so I've been playing for the last hour or 2. Really liking so far. Started off with a Civic which I've done up too the top of D class. So far i've only raced on threds of the test track but i'm enjoying it more the Froza 1; Test track was my most hated track in that game.
Anyway I'm off to play some more and do up my MX-5

Shouldnt have cancelled your DVDCrave preorder then =p
The CE is pretty cool. Has a plastic sleave similar to Gears, but the box is not tin (which i thought it was), its a cardboard cover (like a dvd box set) which has the CE book (making of) and the DVD case inside. Clear as mud I know.

Bah I hate shyte CE versions especially in tacky cardboard. :bleurgh:
Anyways will still be picking this up tomorrow, I haven't seen either versions what they look like but if the cardboard one is especially tack I'll have to pass on that one..making of disc..pffft.
At least chuck in a disc or card with some cool skins for cars or something...*sigh*

And at $76 from JB you can't really go wrong.

I was jilted by the GOW CE version and that tacky cardboard.
I'll be there early too so I might see ya there spanx.
I might wear my saints row shirt too for extra street cred.
I'll be the guy with the bleary flu eyes asking the JB workers why they only seem to employ emo/goth/grungy people.

What type of cars are they. I picked up the original verison and I want to know what I missed out on!
Also TrueGamer didn't order enough copies in so they'll be sending mine out tomorrow morning for Friday. Though I got $5 credit from them, damn I'm such a money whore.

I'll be the guy avoiding the emo/goth/grungy people I know from uni who work there. You're not wrong though, they really are weird there, and more so than other JB stores I've been to (Hornsby and Chatswood). One guy always has his massive baggy black leather pants on with bits of metal and random leather straps hanging off.
Anyone else picking up the wheel? I'll probably get it on the weekend.

The 3 car pack is a ~125kb download and there is an auto update too.
Well so far im loving the game. Exactly what I expected. Dont understand how some people are disapointed by the game, but then I prefer this sim type racer over an arcade type. Love upgrading my cars etc.
I dont see the problem with the graphics either. They aren't groundbreaking but they certainly arent ugly. New York looks great, very detailed.

A good portion of my friends list were playing the game earlier tonight while Nismo wasn't. Sad Nismo was sad.
But yeah, getting it later today from JB. Looking forward to it.
As for the wheel Spancs, I'm getting that in a week or so man.

I only really miss out on the Ferrari there, I like the car but I don't think I'd be using it in game. I'll probably hit up the 350z or BMW M3

No bloody shirt though, typical of MAQAURIE EB. The worst eb around me god damn i hate em i shoulda went with hornsby.
cant wait to get into it.
my lucky day, my ds lite arrived repaired, my driver 76 tshirt from palgn arrived, and forza 2 .

Got my copy from JB today along with the wheel. I've never used a wheel before for a racing game so it might take some time to get used to playing it that way. I'll be on most of the night if anyone wants to race with me.
