have been playing kamio, and am unable to continue onto the second level in multiplayer after finishing the first.
can any one help?

If you mean 'Kameo' then I think in multiplayer (co-op?) you have single chapters, so after each one it's supposed to stop. Not that i've actually played it online but i'm sure that's the case. Someone correct me if i'm wrong.
I think you unlock stuff in the multiplayer game by playing through the single player story mode.

ugh is on the money, you'll need to beat the chapter in single player before it can be played in multiplayer.

You need to unlock the levels in single player before they are available on multiplayer. If you play online the host might already have the levels unlocked though which means you wouldn't need to worry.
