Is Sarah not anyone's type of hot? With the exception of straight females (though maybe not) and gay males (though maybe not).
Holy crap yesterday's episode reeked of 'lets do something dramatic'. The first 5 minutes with the bluffs and double bluffs was good, then it feel in a hole and failed to climb out. _________________

I actually enjoyed this episode far more than any other in the season so far. Granted the Micheal/Sucre Brokeback River thing was a bit of drag, but everything else was quite entertaining and yes, dramatic but there's nothing wrong with that in a drama show is there? _________________

I still enjoy watching the show more than most things on TV at the moment, but it's very clear that the first season was successful and they signed the writers for season 2, and now they're all sitting in a room thinking "what the fuck do we do now for another 22 weeks?". _________________

Actually, they've already planned out Season 3, which has been confirmed. Here we go!

Oh please no. Oh dear god please no. Oh no no no no.
Seriously, what the f*** are they going to do for a third season? Like Spanca I already think it looks like they're pulling out tons of random crap just to fill the rest of the season, but now they are going to come up with 22 more weeks of a no doubt heavily reduced cast continuing to do the same stuff they did in season 2 (or hell, they could be thrown back in prison and season 3 could be season 1 take 2).
The only other option I can see is they bring in new characters to break out / escape from the law, which would be even worse.
I don't like this news. _________________

Apparently when the show was first pitched and being organised for production, there was enough 'content' to work with to make up to 5 seasons of the show. So while most of you are beginning to think the show has no direction, I'd be inclined to believe otherwise. Of course, we could just be being dragged along for the ride but I dunno; if anything the writers have shown with this show that they know how to compel you to continue watching. Be it through sharpness, wit, or whatever. Even when the show seems to get boring, it suddenly becomes the opposite again and everything is sweet. I guess we'll see how season 2 continues and how season 3 begins before making anymore judgements, but at the moment I wouldn't rule the show and its direction out just yet. Then again, I am a fanboy of this show so call it bias if you want to.
Anyway, recent episode was great. As has been mentioned above the Michael/Sucre thing dragged out a bit but otherwise it was a great episode. How stupid did I feel to not think that it was a trick on the behalf of Michael and Sucre at the start, like they would normally do? And then within 30 seconds of that being revealed, bam! Another trick is shoved into our faces. That was awesome and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Two things I thought was weird though, both of which I'll hide incase they are spoilers.
| Quote: | 1. When Michael and Sucre finally got out of the river and they showed that expanding shot of the cops being really close to them - how the hell did they go from that, to being in the car lot without any tail whatsoever?
2. Sarah's mobile call to that Government guy near the end. Once she realised that it was him behind it, why the hell would she stay in the same place that she received the call from? I mean surely being the Government it would be so damn easy to trace it isn't funny? Yes I know the phone was turned off immediately, but she was talking long enough for them to be able to trace it... |
Awesome episode, definitely. Bring on the next one next week.
Oh and what's the go with Lost going off air for a few weeks? I hope that doesn't happen to this show or Heroes as well... _________________

Seriously I don't see why they should have a third series. believe me it is just gonna drag with plot coming from miniscule events that doesn't really need to happen, just the fact that Michael planned all this through a gizillian steps on his tats. Just turn yourself in.

Heroes, Prison Break, 24 and My Name is Earl (the 4 shows I watch on channel 7) are all on next week so I don't think the Easter break is the reason there is no Lost next week. _________________

well, next Thursday is the FINA World Championships finals on channel 9, and a 2 hour episode of Bones on Seven.
Bones looks like 2 single episodes back-to-back, so my guess is they didn't want to compete with the swimming. _________________

Has anyone been following Michael's tatts for continuity throughout the show? I swear his tattoos looked completely different tonight at the start. _________________

What we saw tonight of his tats were indeed new, but I do think that they were still part of the overall design that was made. It was on a section of his arm that we haven't really seen before, so yeah. (we have seen a part of that arm down a bit lower though)
Episode impressions? Great to see Sarah work out where the rendezvous will be although of course the FBI worked it out too. Should be interesting to see what will happen to T-Bag now that he is with Bellick, not to mention what will happen with Linc and LJ (although the preview for next week spoiled that...).
What do you lot think on Ben's retrieval? And Michael's phone call? _________________

I was thinking the same thing - in fact if the show was seriously supposed to go up to 5 seasons shouldn't all of the tatts for those theoretical 5 seasons have been there from the start?
Also did anything end up actually happening with the flower? _________________

If by flower you mean what Michael was at the Botanical Gardens for then no, nothing happened with it due to him having to bail. Infact nothing was alluded to with regards to how/why those people chasing him knew he was there or was going to be there either, so I would dare say that it is 'unfinished' business for both Michael and perhaps the FBI/whoever is chasing him. Time will tell, I guess. _________________

Something did happen with the flower. Micheal had buried a box of nitroglycerin under the plant, but seeing as the feds got there first, he was unable to retrieve it. Makes you wonder why he needed that much explosive in the first place...
Decent last episode. I loved Michael's little reciprocated sleuthing stunt; it really feels like he has found his intellectual match plus a confrontation between the two seems inevitable at this point. Mohone's character is really starting to become one of the more interesting members of the cast. I also like the new 'everyone dies' plot point. It adds a sense of foreboding and danger every time the feds get close to one of the 8. I swear I thought T-Bone was going to bite the dust this episode. _________________

To be honest im getting more and more bored with this series as the episodes go on. they just seem to be repeating themselves. Its like they are in a constant loop with no ideas. The outside has the exact same flow as in prison. I expected more from this series but its just getting repitive and boring.
Thats my op. _________________

Yeah, first series was great you wanted to watch on and dint know what would happen, but the second series its just predictable. For me anyways. _________________

Some things have been predictable. Others (such as what happened with the money a few episodes ago) was not predictable and I think these moments are enough to make series 2 as good as the first. The latest episode was again fantastic if you ask me, but being a Prison Break fanboy that might be a given. _________________

In one episode late in season 1 they have a "past" episode telling all he main characters motives for what they want to achieve on the outside. Dont want to spoil anything but if you look at the preview on channel 7 for each upcoming episode you will know if they ae outside or not _________________

What the hell is the point of having an episode end in a cliffhanger if Channel 7 go and spoil it mere seconds later in the 'preview' for next week? I'm sick to death of these promos they do.
Tonight's episode was great. Next week's... well thanks to 7 I already know what happens _________________

Haha yeah that was kind of annoying but at the same time, it was quite predictable too because she is the 'key' to everything at the moment. (quite literally too, it seems)
I enjoyed the episode tonight but I did feel as though a lot of T-Bag and Mahone's parts were filler which is quite unfortunate. Obviously Mahone figured out what he did, but other than that it wasn't too interesting I have to say. First time I've really got the impression of filler from the show but even so I couldn't care too much because I can see how it is leading into some bigger things over the next few episodes. Plus I'm a fanboy so you know, the show can do no wrong and all that... _________________

it isn't just prisonbreak that it happens for either, and it really sh!ts me to tears.
luckily i'm usually in control of the remote so i can quit the station before anything happens, though i have had some things spoilt by mid-week adverts in the past too. _________________
