Is Spectrobes worth $44? It seems like a good price though.

PS2 Logitech cordless controller: $34.95

This seems like a good price. Anyone concur? I've only had the PS2 a few weeks and the wired controllers are a bit restrictive.

Logitech make awesome wireless controllers, and I'm sure their corded ones will be the same

Most EB stores have taken away their Gamecube sections recently, but I'm sure (if my local EB is any indication) if you ask them they might let you know what they have out the back in regards to Gamecube titles.

Which JB Hi-Fi store was that? As I have not been given the green light from head office to do that.

As for other JB Hi-Fi bargains. Most first party Sony PS2 platinum titles have been added to the 2 for $40 section. For example, Tekken 5, WRC Evolved, Killzone, God of War, F1 05, F1 06, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories, Juiced, The Warriors, Moto GP 4 and the Ratchet & Crank games.

I bought one of these are few months ago for $29.95 at Target. They are pretty good and feel more comfortable then the Sony ones imo, and I don't think I've had to change the battery yet, but I haven't been playing the PS2 very often.

Modbury / Tea Tree Plaza (not sure what it is officially called. Probably Modbury).

Mostly under-average games, although I admit I was never heavily into GBA games so you may find something worth picking up. Ironically, I have more DS games than GBA. I think they had Need for Speed and some sort of fishing game, same series which is on Wii (no - not Zelda).

Speaking of which, is that anime store next door to JB Hi-Fi in the city new? I just saw it there and noticed Naruto and the words "games" so I went in and saw a whole bunch of Final Fantasy and Sonic soundtrack CDs.

That price for Test Drive Unlimited (360) is neither advertised in the catalogue or marked as such in store. I doubt you've listed a nationwide price there, more likely a store specific deal.

Well most stores have TDU on 360 for $69.95 anyway, so I'm sure you can haggle them down to $64

It's marked as $114 at my store icon_eh.gif But like I said, it's not an nationwide advertised/catalogue price like this article suggests.

A lot of places are doing that deal anyway with the premium system, where the 2 games are launch titles.

Aren't most places also doing the Gears pack + 2 launch games for like, $650? Seems like a better deal to me (as I would buy Gears anyway), if they could work in Viva Pinata (the other 360 title I really want) I'd be laughing.

Joseph: Never seen that anime store before, yeah, must be new.

Yeah I've seen a couple of deals like that but they haven't had the games I wanted. I got Oblivion and Viva Pinata and I'll probably get 2 more launch titles from the Eb 2 for $50 deal in a couple of weeks.
