Is there a way to turn off sigs or avatars so I don't see them at all?
I detest picture sigs and find it unpleasant to use forums that have them.

actually, this forum is probably one of the few i can tolerate the Signature pics. Avatars are great for quickly identifying a poster, but 99% of the time, i hate Sig-pics.

usually because they are big and obnoxious and take forever to load.

PALGN is the 1%.

if there is a way of turning them off, i can't find it.

and i hate flavoured chips. Plain Chips 4 Lyfe. especially Corn Chips (all the better for dipping in Salsa or Dip).

Far be it for me to actually have an opinion (as that is far too often a very dangerous thing to have around here, expecially when it differs to the majority or the outspoken) I have to agree with the penis wannabe. To an extent, anyway. I do not "detest" them, but I also am not a fan of Pics in sigs. The only reason I personally have one is as a favor to the person it links to. If it was not for wanting to help out my mate I would not have one at all. It has been the same thing since I first joined, and I have no intention of ever changing it.

I also believe that most of the internet has forgotten what an avatar is.

In fact DO prefer vanilla Ice Cream, I love a nice, plain piece of fresh baked bread straight out of the oven, I can not stand "potato chips" in Any varient. Its called personal preference. We all have them.

oops.. think I accidentally had an opinion there. Please dont hurt me.

Who does? I cant think off the top of my head any offenders.
The people with small sig-bars are ok, because they take up as much space as 1 or 2 lines of text, which is what you are allowed with a full-size sig.

oh okay so you're allowed a sig within the guidelines and "my gamer cards" type sigs but only if they're small?

Some of the 'my gamer cards' are over the limit, but those are okay?

We used to say that if you were going to have a sig picture to the limits, you can't have a gamertag and the other shit like 'IMA MAC FAN' gif. You could have a smaller cig and have a gamertag if you like. As long as it doesn't stretch the page. Other than that no one really notices.

Also, I Adblock a lot of images I don't want to look at

People with the User Awards are fine for having their normal signature + that user award picture, however everyone else should be within the limits and if you're not, expect a warning coming you way.
