This above product is a black case for the 360. Just out of curiosity, is it safe at all to replace the standard (and frankly, BLERGH!) case, with this nice black one?

A black Xbox 360 would look very cool, next to my PS3.

Probably not a good idea as it voids your warranty. Black is probably a really bad colour for a 360 as it does like to absorb heat and all....

It wont heat anything up any more. That applies to things in direct sunlight.

It is safe to get the kit. But you will also need the tool to open the 360 (i have one right here LOL) They are like $12. And there are much higher quality cases, as this one looks painted.

I think divineo.com has some.

Good luck

Wait until after your warranty ends, then you have nothing to lose.

I'd like to get the window for the 360, but if you have to go cutting it up, screw it.

I've seeen some videos on youtube on how to open your Xbox 360 and make your own tools to open the thing but have to say that it looks way too fiddly for my liking.

Shame because sometime down the track I wouldn't mind getting the full chrome case for it.
