i actually dont think carlton will go all that bad this year but prediciting them to come 11th 
as for brisbane! i was not pleased on how they performed and i didnt think brown all that well at all.

Won't be announced till Thursday 29th.. day before things get under way. This will be the case every week, with teams playing Sunday allowed to name squads and narrow down.
And can I say the Cousins get suspended made my day.

Same here. I'm actually quite shocked it had taken them this long to do something like that. I reckon that he might be involved with this whole drug scandal thing over at west coast and it was the straw that broke the donkey's back.

But, his future is very unclear, but quite possibly will be away from West Coast, it's either him or Judd, who would you choose?

it's about time they jumped on him imo.
the whole news coverage last night was appalling. making him out to be the victim. umm, NO. no one forced the dopey bastard to do drugs, or drink and drive, or any of that, he did it himself, and because of his ability to kick a fcuking ball, he's been blind-eyed the whole time.
he doesn't deserve preferential treatment either from the law, or from his employers, and it's about time someone punished him for being an idiot.

yes he is an idiot, yes its about time they did something about it, no he isnt just good at kicking a ball. theres more to afl then that and i hate when people think that the only skill involved is just kicking a ball because there is alot more to it then that. sorry whoever is offended and yes im biased but i definantly think that afl is the most skilled football code there is. 2nd soccer and last nrl.
now back to ben cousins, he supposedly missed training on the morning that they were taking drug test so there could be a problem and then he ended up having the drug test later on in the day and soon we will find out if he has been taking drugs and i think he will get caught. it was also said he didnt turn up because off problems with him splitting up with his gf/wife whatever (i have no idea if he was married or engaged or anything) is that a good enough reason? i dont think it is.
EDIT: should i put the fixture of rnd 1 and future rounds as well as the results of the tipping comp on the 1st post of this thread?

1st offence only doctor and player gets told
2nd offence players club gets told
3rd offence media gets told
BTW everyone is jumping on him already, so far all he is guilty of is missing training, which he has done before hence the breach of contract and the suspension.

^ he has fucked up more than once, it's a build of things, this being the smallest offence. It's just a little coincidental that the announcement of a drug problem occurs and all of a sudden Ben doesn't show up. He is known for ties into the heart of the Perth drug scene, but nothing is done. W.A is home to the AFL premiership and that's all anyone here seems to care about.
If he plays again this year than WCE are weak, unless he cleans himself up, which is doubtful but you have to give him a chance. If they didn't do anything Judd would leave and they know they can't afford that.

ok, i will not be here from Sunday the 1st for the whole week so i will not put the results of rnd 1 up, ill put them in with the rnd 2 results ok. and when you tip for rnd 2 can please call the pm Round 2 tips etc... as it makes it easier for me to separate them from rnd 1 tips.
