Yeah, got worms, it isn't bad. A lot less weapons than other versions (no holy hand grenade?!) but still good fun. If you guys get it, we'll definately play online.

I got the demo and I've played a couple of games. 800 points is a bit pricey but I think I'll get it anyway as I've got 800 in my balance. _________________

Let me be the first to say 'OMGWTFBBQ?!' - Boo to that, and not in a good way... like Boo-urns.
Still, I'll be getting it tonight and hopefully not getting my arse handed to me by you guys _________________

I've just spent a few hours playing the single player game (done 11/20 challenges and 5/12 achievements).
I'll try and catch up with some of you in the next few days for some online fun _________________

From what I've been hearing from everyone at work, it would have been better to spend $5 or $10 on a budget copy of Worms World Party. But I already have that so I'm in a good position. _________________

^ If you can get WWP running on a 360 then you're set to have a blast, but until then most of us will have to settle for this for our Live Worms fun _________________

WWP is supreme - but I can't get it running on my PC for the life of me. My previous PC ran it fine under XP, this one won't - Tried patches, compatibility modes, etc.
I have to say though, I'm a little unimpressed with Worms on 360 at the moment. I've only tried single-play so far, but the movement is a little glitchy (specifically jumping) and the rope has been absolutely mangled. Gimme mouse+keyboard controls anyday *pout* _________________

Back around 99 or 2k there was a game around the LANs that was a clone of worms that ran in real time rather than turn based. it was only two player but could be played on the one PC. The screen was split vertically with one player on the right and one player on the left. The play area was rather huge and it scrolled independantly on each sice of the screen with each worm having an arrow that pointed in the "crow flies" direction of the other player. The weapons were massively entertaining and the pace was absolutely frantic. You were just as likely to take yourself out as the other player! It was fantastic.
I think it was called "Luego" or something simillar. I believe it was freeware. I can't seem to find it anywhere. Does anyone else remember this game? I would love to try get my hands on it again. I much preferred it to any version of worms I played. _________________

That'd be Liero.
Official site - For the original version.
Or
LieroX - An updated/modded clone/un-official sequel of Liero, which runs under XP no problems.
Enjoy _________________

Liero was good times!
I'd get Worms, but I'd rather save for Boom Boom Rocket. No Holy Hand Grenade ahs turned me off it a little too. If I get a full time job, perhaps. =P _________________ Host on Australian gaming TV show Level 3

Liero was bloody awesome. Played every day in school for like a year. Good times!
Boom Boom Rocket is my most anticipated Arcade title on the way, yes even moreso than Castlevania. Purely because it's a Bizarre Creations game and I'm biased towards them.
Anyway, Worms. I'll be honest here, I have never played a Worms game in my life. So A) I'd suck badly and B) I wouldn't know what I am doing.
That said, I am still planning on getting it. Test Drive's new content tonight got the priority from my points, but if I have enough I'll be making a Worms purchase too. Although, if rumours are true and Castlevania hits next week that might just get the priority... _________________

Next week!? Really?
And Slap, I wasn't pretending, I accidentally left the 360 on and went out! Got home to like 15 messages, some really weird one's from our Panda..
And I'm having bad problems with my NAT, thats why we couldn't chat or play a match hosted by either of us.

^ I see what you did there. (so hard not to post of the relevant cat pics...)
If Worms had a Funkybomb would you rate it higher than Scorch? _________________

i dunno. don't get me wrong, i love Worms, but i used to play SE sooooooo much.
still do occasionally.
word to the wise though, avoid Scorched Earth 3D. it's infinitely worse than the 3D Worms outings. _________________

I appreciate the warning... but I've already had the misfortune (and again on a few different versions...)
Indy versions of these games bringing them into modern times (and working on modern systems) when the devs won't or can't is a great idea - just don't mess about with the formula, dagnabbit! _________________

Worms = 800 MS points
Amount of MS points Nismo has after purchasing TDU content = 790...

Downloaded the trial today, and it's brilliant even if the most awesome weapon ever is missing. When I get some more points this is a definate purchase. Love the cartoony style really suits the game.

That's cool. I played a game with an abusive Englishman, a non-speaking player, and an overly defensive American. I was down to 1 worm when the others all had at least 3 left, and ended up winning the game.
Only 2 achievements left to get now: the challenges (up to 16) and the 20 000 damage (no idea how much I've done). _________________

Yeah, Same. Level 20 is getting frustrating. I only had one more worm to kill and the bastard called an air strike on me. _________________
