No probs.
Gasnier out for the season with a torn Pec muscle? Nathan Brown came out right after the game saying that the season is over for the team. What a knob.
Brisbane got a hiding from Storm. Did that kid play five-eight for Lockyer to move to half-back? That was retarded. Keep a formula, Bennett. You're losing the plot.
Mat Rogers is going to explode this season. It'll be interesting to see how much of an impact he (and the whole team) can make. I hope they make top 8.

Lockyer didn't play in this match, so no. And Mitch Bashing Bennet in the league world is a cliched as bashing SONY in the gaming world. I thought he'd at least get to wait a round or two before the critism rained down, I mean he did just win the 2006 premiership. _________________

You're only as good as your last game. And we got flogged
Yeah I guess you're right I'm being hard on him. It's not like I'm jumping on the bandwagon. I've been hating on him for years....along with Ricky Stuart.

Shame about Gas, but I dont really like him anyway. Look out for a kid named Andrew Bell at the Dragons, he's my sisters boyfriend and he plays 5/8, probably wont make it this year but he'll be playing in the lower grades. (but u never know)
Damn, the Dogs got flogged, the Cowboys lost, thats my teams gone for the weekend

EDIT 2: No extra points for tipping a draw? |
If a premiership game is a draw, 10 minutes of extra time is played (golden point), meaning that there is allmost no chance of a draw happening; I don't think there's been one in the 2 or so years that golden point has been around. There's been more draws in AFL recently that NRL!
So I would highly recoment not tipping a draw. |
There was a draw between Souths and Canterbury last year or the year before, so it can happen, but it's highly unlikely like you said. I'll go enter after I'm finished posting this. For those of who are interested I'm a Parramatta fan for life. I have season tickets and go to all away games in NSw and Canberra, I even went to Brisbane last year. Suncorp is a top ground indeed. This year I also attened all thre trial games in Parkes, Lismore, and Gosford. If anyone on here is a Parra fan and want to go to any away games, let me know. Even if you go for the oppposition, I'm happy to take you as long as you're not biased. I hate totally biased supporters. Some of the season ticket holders I sit near are some of the worst offenders at that.
Edit: For the person who said Mat Rodgers is going to explode this year, he'll surely have to improve on his showing against Parra up at Lismore. He dropped his first 2 passes and saw little ball after that, and he didn't play the entire second half. Personaly though, I'm glad to see him back in league.

Does it have to be before friday, or before the games kickoff on friday?
If it could be before the games kickoff on Friday, that would be better. That way you get the best indication of who is playing and who is out injured. I've heard Nathan Hindmarsh probably wont play against te Warriors, so there goes my Eels hopes for this week.

I say all tips should be posted before the first game on Friday.
All teams get listed on Tuesday, however various changes can occur before then.
I don't want to seem like I'm plugging this site, but if you want any news etc. the best place to go is www.leagueunlimited.com it gives you a good guide on whats happening with players etc. _________________

Nah, it starts this friday, only 4 days to go
11 till Cowboys first home game seeing as i got season tickets, can't wait.
I too hate all the extremely biased idiots sitting around us, especially when the Dogs play here, I want to bash them. Calling Hazem Elmasri a bible bashing rapist, wtf? he's like the nicest bloke you'll find.
If I was a millionaire I'd fly to Sydney every week to see the dogs instead of sitting with them deros. _________________

Yeah starts this Friday, teams get announced tomorrow, except for the Roosters who have already announced their side.
I'm also a Season Ticket Holder and I'm going to two games this weekend, Broncos vs. Cowboys and Titains vs. Dragons, should be great! _________________

Lucky you, which team are you a season ticket holder for? I wish the Titans were playing up here this year but they're not which is crap.
lol, I was just thinking about the days when we used to go to the Cowboys and there'd be about 8-10 thousand people, those games were awesome, but since they've hit some form its 25 thousand each game (dairy farmers capacity ) and you can't even walk around without getting squashed. _________________

I should have clarified that it's before the first match on Friday, in others words I think the cut off is about 7:25 or so.
And how good is it that the 2 games get televised on Friday nights now! Fantastic! Also the pub up the road from me had a deal with Monday Night Football (I don't have Fox) for a free Pizza and happy hour prices for the first half! _________________

Same. I can't even remember who I tipped, should probably have another look. Though I'll no doubt forget by the time I get home.

woot! only 1hr 14 mins till the season opener. Go the Cowboys first up in the double header (for us in QLD) and Tigers for the second (although I picked the Storm). What a way to start with the true QLD derby. _________________

i totally agree about the QLD derby. it's a great way to start the season off with a clash that gets all of QLD interested, especially since the cowboys now put up a fight it makes a game. the atmosphere at suncorp is awesome on opening night! _________________
