Can I please remind people that even mentioning downloading episodes is not condoned here, and that the policy that applies to Heroes also applies to this thread and all other TV shows.

B3NBO: if you're going to type gibberish like that, no matter what you are using don't bother typing it up at all then, as it is illegible and can not be understood.

DC1_rulz: used the button next time, a gap of 3 minutes is hardly enough to constitute a double post, and is frowned upon.

Anyway, sadly I've missed all the episodes of Prison Break from episode 10 onwards basically of season 1 due to timing constraints, however I do look forward to catching up to at least the end of season 1 if I can get out to a video shop to hire the DVDs.

I knew Stomare's time on the show was limited after his name was moved to 'guest appearance' status, so his demise wasn't that much of a shock. I agree with everyone else though, his character was easily the best of the lot. He was just so cool. Who knows, maybe the writers will work zombies into the storyline somehow. One can hope.

I'm really glad the writers were able to turn the show around as quick as they did. I've said it already, but the finale of season one was horrible plus the prospect of the cons not plotting and scheming from behind bars anymore lessened the appeal of the show. The show was called Prison Break after all and it was the plan of escape that got me hooked on the show in the first place. How was I supposed to keep my interest now that the plan simply involved 'now we run'. Bleh. At least that's how the finale made it out to be.

But the ball was set almost immediately in motion once all the cons set their sights on the cash in Utah. Also I was happy to find out that Micheal did actually have a plan outside of prison. The addition of the creepy looking fed guy also makes things extra juicy. He's like bizzaro Schofield.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing where the show is going. It's not as good as the first season, but it's good enough for me to want to see where it all leads, and in the end that's all you really need.

I take it you mean how I wasn't surprised by his death? Well I wasn't icon_razz.gif I think I may have read it somewhere too, but I can't remember if that's true or not. Doesn't make his departure any less sucky though. I'll just keep an eye on what he plans to do from now, aside from Mercenaries 2 that is.

Well I have to agree series one ended so badly but luckily the writers have salvaged series 2. Even the first few episodes which have been screened here in Aus show great promise for the second series. Just a shame my fave character has been killed off, won't say his name in case it hasnt been shown here yet.

^ People's complaints are with the ending of season 1, not the beginning...

Speaking of this ending though, what exactly is the problem with it guys? I mean it wasn't the best episode from season 1, but I still found it to be reasonably enjoyable to watch. So yeah, what's the qualm that everyone seems to have except me?

I actually agree with you, Nis - I don't know what made the final episode so much worse than other episodes. Granted I don't remember what happened exactly, but it really didn't seem that bad.

The only problem I had really was that the ending of Season 1, where they are being surrounded, did not seem to match up with the start of Season 2, which seems like a cop out. Once again though, that's my memory, it could very well have been the same place.

Well personally, I thought that after all the meticulous planning Micheal went through to get the guys out of prison, it seemed like he didn't have much of a direction when they finally did break out. I can't remember all the details, but there where points in the episode that seemed so clumsy and idiotic. Waiting for the cops to get ahead of them for example, or trying to jump start a car without an engine. I mean come on! We've had 20 something episodes building him up as this mastermind then he goes off and does stuff like that.

The episode seemed like a rushed job, like maybe the writers weren't given enough time to flesh it out. I was thinking that if that was the case, maybe they didn't have much of a plan for season 2 either. Luckily I was proven wrong, so I'm back to enjoying the show.

Right, I can understand where you are coming from now and yes in some parts, I will agree with you too. But at the same time Michael did have a plan, to get to the airstrip and indeed the plane that John took care of in order to help the escape. They got there in the end (only to have it disappear on them), but with the unexpected setbacks along the way it didn't go exactly to plan.

But yeah meh, as you say season 2 has returned to form quite nicely so far and I can't wait to see what happens in the next few episodes.

I thought they were flying to Mexico, Utah wasn't part of the original plan (it was only mentioned by whats-his-face (old man with the cat) just before he died). I could be wrong, though.

I groaned when I saw what happened at the end of last night's episode. I have a feeling that it's no longer going to have clever twists, but just going to draw out into a long and slow crawl for the money.

I want to know why Channel 7 keeps showing that mental guy (I'm no good with names) in the teasers when the episode doesn't actually have it - damn it I want to see what happens to him.

Exactly the same as me. Seems to be dragging out a bit now. Season 1 had small obsticles that were usually overcome in an episode or 2, but now it seems to be slowing the pace of the show a little this season. icon_confused.gif

I both agree and disagree. The ending didn't make me groan but I was slightly disappointed with it. But then, in a way it was predictable too as getting the money has to be hard for them, it can't just be easy otherwise it goes against everything else (good and bad) that's happened with the show so far.

I still think that despite the ending, this particular episode showed exactly why it was a Prison Break episode and not an episode from any other show though. I won't refer to anything in particular but yeah the episode had its moments for me and I still enjoyed it as a result. If anything though, the episode felt like it was cut too much, or perhaps had too much intended plot wise written for it and then suffered slightly as a result because of all the cuts it had to have. Ah well.

I liked the ending. It'll certainly be more entertaining watching the guys figure this out than watching them dig at the foot of a silo. Also I liked how that sicko handless fella made himself useful. He's such a sneaky SOB.

I won't say the show is getting any better, but it's doing enough to make me want to keep coming back for more. Oh, and that sneaky bad guy from the first season who is now setting his sights on the doc sh!ts me to no end. I don't know why, but I've alway had that impression of him.

Spanc edit: the only legal way for you to be watching the show is via Australian television. It's not our job to enforce the copyright act and other relevant legislation, but referring to non-legal methods in your posts isn't on. It was episode 5 to answer your question.

Speaking of him, what ended up happening with that phone number he copied - anything? Something probably did, but I can't remember there being any resolution... or is that being held off for next weeks episode.

He tried having it traced, but it turned out that the number had been disconnected for some number years. Curiouser and curiouser...
