If you have taken your Wii online, how have you done it? _________________ RIP Buddha 19/10/1952 - 03/01/2004

this could have been dealt with in the Q&A thread. but in any case...i used my router. I don't understand your question because the only way you can get online is to have a wireless router or USB dongle. what were you asking that for?

yeah works fine, i updated the firmware like a few months back though when i got my DS so if yours is old you might want to do the same. im using channel 11 too instead of the default 6 which is supposed to increase performance _________________ yay!

I use a Belkin 54g wireless router/modem combo, no problems whatsoever. The Wii detected it straight away, and connected. _________________

ah cool, i'll try change the channel.
because mine is detecting the signal, but can't connect through it. _________________

I just tried my netgear router last night and now my Wii likes it. I guess the Wii is just pickier on the distance than other devices. Pitty the DS still doesn't like it. _________________

I go through my MacBook Pro notebook. Ethernet into the Mac then I have an outgoing net share from OS X which the Wii picks up and uses. It's not pretty but it does the job while the house isn't wireless and it works well! _________________
