well heres something i was thinkin about, and ig uess it wont interest you
well my list of games u should have played
RR64
SIN AND PUNISHMENT
SF2
well lets take each on at a time
RR64- for real, out of all the ridge racers this is the best, and its not made by namco, but NSTC.
its simple, yet addicitve, its quality? why? cause the developers made it a PURE racing game- like f zero- its simple and it works
sin and punishment- well the name should say nuff
SF2- well lets see here, very simple to play- no complex buttons and it is widely regarded to be the best of the best fighting games
now lets see todays fighting games... bloody roar seems to be ignored by the foolish people- why? cause it has not much of a name- no tekken and so... but people who play the game know its a blast! and fun! and its simple, its almost the same as SF2...
yeh people will buy the clones and boring fighters such as tekken and so on- how many of us will learn all the moves?
how long will it take for your mates to learn all the combos and then u get bored of the game- cause no one can play it?
as u may have noticed- all these games are simple, and in my opinions real winners in their respective field, cause what they do, they do well, and u have to learn how to push it to the limit!! and that is enough depth really..
face it, how many of us get fed up with soooo many options? its good to have some, but too many is boring
a GAME IS MEANT TO BE FUN, NOT VERY SERIOUS AS THE WHOLE POINT OF GAMES IS TO MAKE U BELEIVE IN ANOTHER WORLD
also another thing about these games, they dont really get hyped.. unlike tekken- 1-4 all where hyped and only a few courageous people stood up and said that it was shoddy- but the rest of the people loved it...
this is another point, people fall to hype
DK640 hyped and i think im one of the few who know its a crap game- it doesnt have that DK feeling.. man even the smash bros levels have more of a DK feeling...
well these are my views in brief.. whats yours? do u see the lite?
if so.. go and try those games

I agree with you but Sin and Punishment wasn't released because it would of been too late for most people to get it. Like Shantae.

Well here is my list of games that I wish I had got or am still trying to get:

Shantae - my most looked forward to GBC game that isn't getting released over here

Sin & Punishment - This game was made for the western market it seemed.

Paper Mario - Such a fun RPG so I am going to have to get it.

Kirby 64 - combining powers is fun, simple game but alot of fun.

I just got Bloody Roar of layby yesterday, and I am LOVING IT! I can't be arsed learning all the combos, and have yet to pull off a beast drive, but eh, I am having so much fun with it, I really don't care. The one gripe I do have is the same as everyone else, the GCN controller just wasn't made for fighting games. That, and I need another memory card

Which characters you like/hate, Metroid? My favs has to be Long and Yugo, while the ones pissing me off the most are Ganesha and that little half-beast Uriko, she reminds me of Ling Xiaoyu, the cheap-shot-queen of Tekken 3 against me.

The only gripe I have with Bloody Roar is that its not as deep as other fighting games. Only 2 attack buttons? I mean its fun and all, and masterying all those combos will take some time

but i wish there was more of a high/low kick and high/low punch option. Maybe its just me though.

I wouldn't mind seeing a GameCube version of Sin&Punishment. The game looked very cool. Shame it was never released outside Japan.

hey dudes
bloody roar has 3 BUTTONS not 2..
well i use XION alot, cause he fits my style,
shenlong is damn good, as well as shina.. i use the others but rarely
i hate uriko cause she is soo damn short so its hard punchin her
otherwise its damn good..
try playing the game on hard.. those COMP players BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF U..HEHE
plus there are some lovely ladies!!!
