He said that he registered me too..  Weird. Anyway, I've added most of the people in this thread now, including you. I hope it starts working. I have WiiConnect24 switched on, as well as standby. However, the blue light on my Wii hasn't flashed once (the only time it does is when I switch it on, or it comes out of standby).

nope.
having trouble getting online, apparently my DLink router is not liked by Nintendo.
there's a small fix, but that means running the Wireless LAN xfer rate at 2 MBps, instead of 56, and that makes me sad.
plus - i don't want my message board spammed by Admeister

has anyone else had trouble updating,
my console can connect but the download is taking a damn long time
it took 2hours to get just about half way and it keeps dropping out otherwise - saying something like "cannot connect at this time"

2 hours to update? crikey jeremy, that's not riiiiight.
how far is your wii from your router?
Only trouble i had was after the 1st update, it locked up on a screen saying i could turn on the screen burn in reduction. had to unplug itt entirely to get it working properly.
