Hurry up, Ninty - you can do it.
And hell, since you wont release it normally - translate Mother 3 and shove that in the VC, too. |
That would be great, I'd love to see Earthbound get a release. It's entirely possible too, if Nintendo aren't mean. _________________

I'd rather see a sequel, so that it could be properly designed around the Wiimote (Otherwise you'd be stuck to using the GCN controller). I still think Pokëmon Snap was one of the most under-rated Pokémon games - I much preferred it to Pokémon Stadium! _________________

Absolutely, loved that game. I've been hoping a sequel would come out, but I'd prefer something like "Nintendo Snap" where you go through different worlds (like Pokemon worlds, Metroid worlds, Mario worlds, Zelda etc.) and take pics of the various Nintendo characters doing their thing.
Would also be nice to be able to unlock better lenses and cameras, and be able to adjust the focus, shutter speeds, that sort of thing - maybe some light filters that work like Samus's visors to reveal hidden items and such.

NEW: R - TYPE III - THE THIRD LIGHTNING has just been rated by the OFLC. W00t! Though I was actually hoping R-Type would turn up on the 360 so I could use my Arcade controller. _________________

| Quote: | In November of 2006, Planet Gamecube interviewed Nate Bihldorff, the Nintendo of America Localization Producer/Manager, about the localization process he and his team must go through for a videogame. When Planet Gamecube mentions Mother 3, Bihldorff mentions that he and his team is not working on Mother 3. However, he does mention some of his writers are not under him, so disscusions of the game may be going on. He also mentions that he does not plan on working on it in the immediate future[7].
Bihldorff: No, me personally, I'm not working on Mother 3. I don't have all the writers under me, so there may be other people in discussions going on with it, but I wouldn't look forward to it in the immediate future, no. Sorry, I know! There's a big Mother fanbase, there is. At least everyone can go back and play Melee to get your Ness on. [Laughs]

Not to mention the DS games that Rare's been making... just wanted to point that out since everyone seems to think Rare doesn't touch Nintendo hardware any more...
(obtopic: Bottom line, Diddy is Nintendo's IP)

Has there been any indication on when the AUS virtual console releases will be? (Especially as we only got 11 at launch) _________________ CamDS

So the big news is that if you change your Wii country setting you can log onto foreign servers. On the PAL Wii this gives a choice of Australia, Europe and New Zealand. The advantage for Australians is that you can score Turbo Graphix games. Europeans can buy Wii points at australian prices!!

Hey - could someone who has bought Sonic please take a photograph of the screen while the game is playing? I'm interested in seeing how big the borders are.
Also, same deal with Mario 64. Or any games, maybe we could help other's purchasing decisions with information on the emulation.
I'll do one of Bonk's Adventure if anyone's interested...

has anyone else seen that "secret" thing in the shopping channel. pretty crappy secret.
on that first screen with the headlines like
Wii Shopping Channel Now Open!
the third one is just a dot like .
and you click on it and it says something about how they thought noone would click it. the secret they tell you is that you can click on some button to go back to main screen or something like that. fantastic.
