Ouendan and Mario Kart take first place in my books. Much better than other DS games avaliable, (not that others aren't great though).
EDIT: Yeah I agree with you ad, I hated Project Rub, it was (im my eyes) a lame bunch of heartless minigames which lacked substance. _________________

Quoted for truth! That's exactly what I think too. Phoenix Wright would have to be one of my top DS games, alongside Pac Pix. _________________

Project Rub has a great visual and sonic style. Sure, it's not worth full price, but it's definitely worth $25 or less (which is what it costs almost everywhere).
Metroid Pinball in the best pinball game ever, finally eclipsing Revenge of the Gator. If you don't like Pinball, fine, but I've played that sucka to death. It's a great go-too game for a bit of old school fun. And it looks and sounds great.

I've heard Children of Mana is a mixed bag. This was probably going to be my next purchase on the DS. Has anyone imported this/got a good play out of it?
Then again, the criticisms I read are the same as Sword of Mana, which I loved. I'll bite the bullet and see how it goes. _________________

of the ones i've got, i'd recommend:
New Super Mario Brothers
Super Princess Peach
Mario Kart DS
Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3: Mutant Nightmare
i like what i've played of Metroid Prime: Hunters, but it really depends on where/when you plan on playing your DS. i use mine as a portable (ie: on transport and so on) and the Stylus controls can be awkward in those settings.
Worms (i forget the subtitle) is great if you were into the PC Worms games, and can find it for less that $20. it's not worth more than that.
i've been wondering about Metroid Pinball though, so i might need to pick that one up.
i've heard good things from other DS owners i know about Rocket Slime, but i've not seen, nor played it (anyone who has, give me a rundown as i'm interested in hearing about it.) _________________

Uhh...i've got an imported copy....problem is I can't speak/read/write japanese. My girlfriend seems to be enjoying it though and she doesn't actually play video games (at all).
The animated intro is awesome though. _________________

Children of mana is next on my list too. I'm trying to convince my housemate to get it too for some co-op action RPG dungeon crawling. If nothing else, i'm in love with the lush sprites. I like the sound of the elemental planet system in Magical Starsign too, but mana just looks so much more lovely.
Then theres Elite beat Agents and Bomberman Touch (the latter available at DVD crave) I want to play Bomberman wi fi very much. This time of year is agony.
And lastly, I love the the Rub games, where were these when I was a teenage boy wishing Chun li would be my girlfriend?

I wouldn't recommend Super Princess Peach. It's easy, boring, short and is too repetitive. The Minigames suck also. 3/10.
THAS- 9/10 (Just short thats all-but still awesome) _________________

Did that last 'traditional' Kirby platformer for GBA (you know, the one where he had a mobile phone to call his 3 different coloured clones or something or other) even get released here? I can't remember it doing so. _________________

Also Kirby games seem to get shafted here for some reason - I want Canvas Curse and I think I've seen it in stores maybe 4 times, only once of which was after about a month or so following its release. _________________

A question - I've recently got Elite Beat Agents, and I was originally going to get Ouendan, but now that I got EBA I realised that it isn't about the songs, it's about the sheer joy of the beats, but I feel that I owe it to myself to get the original. I love the game and I leaning towards not getting Ouendan. What do you think? _________________

Finally picked up my PINK DS!
Now to go back thru this thread and make a note of all the games i need to get. I expect the best places to buy and import are mentioned as well? yes?
I Have LUNAR GENESIS. I bought it quite a while back long before I had the DS just cos I found it cheap and it looked cool. I got Dachshund and Friends in the deal when I bought the DS. I have Bomberman and Another Code coming in the mail from the exchane forum here. The other games I know I want are the brain games, Mario Kart, Animal Crossing, Oenden, Phoenix Wright, New super Mario Bros and Princess Peach. Anything else I am sure reading back thru this thread will give me several more titles to add to that list. _________________
