With FFIII and Children of Mana coming out for the DS soon I was looking for another GBA RPG to fill the gap until then. I was thinking maybe FF 1&2 Dawn of Souls?? I've played through both the the Golden Suns and Sword of Mana..
Anyone got any other suggestions? _________________ CamDS

Never played it, but I have heard some good things about Tales of Phantasia. _________________

Does Mario and Luigi count as an RPG?Otherwise, I highly recommend FF Tactics Advance. _________________

It's an excellent game, I highly recommend it! I've played both it and the sequel on DS and really enjoyed them. _________________

Listen to this man, now!
I'm in the minority who thought that the GBA games were much better than the GC version. Get the original purely for story reasons.
The Final Fantasy Ports are quite nice, as is Final Fantasy Tactics Advance. _________________

FF tactics is an excellent game, as is Riviera.I'm sure there are more but my list of owned gba games is at home-i'll scan it later and update this if i've ovrlooked and rpg gems.
Tactics ogre is another but you'd have more luck stumbling across a post by admeister praising the 360 then finding a retail copy of that
Fire emblem is a must have, though not a true rpg at heart. If we're here to blur the lines between rpg and strategy games, let's blur it just a lil more and recommend the greatest of all portable games-(see sig/avatar-ADVANCE WARS). _________________

Have you heard of an S-RPG (strategy RPG)? Think Disgaea. There is a name for these sorts of games, Advance Wars would fall into that category as well I think. _________________

Swordcraft is ment to be good and dont forget about pokemon(not as good as the older versions tho).
If it was up to me(and a lot of others) we would have chrono trigger on GBA. _________________

Minority? I find it hard to believe anyone in their right mind to favour the GCN game over the GBA ones. _________________

was a bit dissapointed with the ending of tales of phantasia on the advance, i liked it but i thought there was going to be more at the end.
but you dont really need it for symphonia or anything storyline wise.
still pretty good game though _________________ How much muck might a moot mite make if my moot mite might make muck!?
