I don't see why someone would go to this much trouble just to create hype for nothing. It seems pretty legit to me. Maybe something will happen tomorrow when the last light lights up, in the blog it has the first three lighting up yesterday, the day before and the day before that, so something may be happening tomorrow.

It says it's not run by Nintendo on the site. It sounds like it's probably one of the fan sites doing it to promote themselves.

I think it relates to Nintendo doing shows/demostrations all over Australia over the next coming 2 weeks. There is one in Brisbane at Suncorp at 6:30pm on Wed Nov 1st. And Brisbane is one of the last cities in the tour. I think the shows are for people who work in the gaming industry - mainly aimed at retail and all retailers selling the Wii have been invited along so they can have a better understanding of the product for the consumer.

Yeah i'm kind of curious too.
