Perhaps October? Who knows it could be anytime, I guess. I plan to get a Rev on day one, with a Rev game (Smash Bros), so if Zelda came out on that day, I couldn't afford both.. _________________

I think the reason everyone is expecting November is because we've become jaded after all these delays. We don't want to pin our hopes on it releasing earlier because if it doesn't, it feels like we're having ANOTHER delay.
And where the hell did the trailer make any sort of reference to it being based on Wind Waker's story? Aside from the fact that it looks the same and there is sailing in the game, the trailer didn't really have anything that made it look like Wind Waker. And even the sailing was different, since Link was in a steamboat, not the good ol' King of Red Lions.
It aint the same game. _________________

Dances, it's not the same game, but it *could* be a sequel. I really, really hope it is. _________________ Plufim comics

OMG!! Are you guys even reading the article??!?!
"...the Wind Waker art style and, possibly, the same storyline as the GameCube game."
That's from the official statement!! Look i'd rather the game was brand spanking new aswell....but it's not up to me!
Also I would much rather play a Revolution game on my new Revolution than a Gamecube game! Also if you read my post again you will see I did take into account the fact that rev plays gcn games, what I said was 'which kinda game would you rather play on your new rev?"
Seriously you guys need to read things properly! _________________

^ Or maybe you could post in slightly clearer English to take into the account people with poor English skills like me
It only says "possibly" the same storyline, it's just an initial reaction to seeing Wind Waker style graphics again. I don't think this will be Zelda: Wind Waker (city) Stories or anything. I'm sure Nintendo has more class then that!

Would'nt it be cool if they included OOT with the TP engine in the game? I know we had OOT included with Wind Waker but I would play through it again for it. _________________ I update this Signature once a year, I better make it a good one... no wait can't be bothered.

Seems to me it was more of a synopsis written by someone that viewed the trailer than an official statement. And either way, if they only have access to the trailer, then theres no evidence to suggest its the same story, and if they happen to know more about the game tan we do, then why use the phrase "possibly"? As it stands, what we've seen shows no evidence its the same story.
I hope its a sequel, too. That "sailing to wherever the wind takes us" (or whatever it was) ending is crying out for a follow up story.

From what I saw with the trailer, Phantom Hourglass is indeed a whole new game with a different story line. I reckon it will just continue the storyline, if it has any connections to Wind Waker. _________________

Yea sorry I didn't mean any offence, i'm just going by what the article said. You guys have seen the trailer and I haven't bothered to do that yet, so chances are you're right but I was just going by what the article said.
And yea good point it's just some guy's opinion on what he has seen, i just figured he might've heard somewhere that it had the same storyline (being a journalist and all).

I finally saw the trailer to PH. To be honest, it looks like just another adventure game. As I said before - I don't like handheld games. _________________

I saw the trailer and read the reviews and its supposed to be the "next" wind waker as a continue to wind waker. That would be good _________________ "If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving is not for you."
