ok so the MGS2 topic is away
what games are you looking foward 2 in the future???
i'm looking 4ward 2getting REZ (i know its out but i was 2xcited about MGS2 2think about getting another game for the last few weeks) but other than FFX i'm not sure whats in the 'coming soon' basket that looks good.

apart from that i'm waiting fer linux/eth/hdd - can't wait to hook up to my lan and stream my videos to my ps2
then i suppose those sexah sony dts decoder/amp/speaker set with it's fiber optic support (anyone know a link to this product? my searches have been in vain)

To be honest the situation regarding up coming PS2 games is really worrying me. After Ico no game really grabs my attention and from what I have heard Ico is a rental rather than a buy.
After that I am giving serious thought to selling my PS2 and putting the money towards a Game Cube. _________________ I want Star Fox Adventures.

There are bound to be some suprise games coming out, like The Bouncer and Z.O.E (seemed to come from no where and IMO are such cool games, rental though).
Supposedly there is going to be a GTA Miami sometime this year which could be good. But that is too far away to think about.
Edit: if it was my PS2 I think I would sell it once I had completed all my current games, and got Rez, then completed that. Although I probably wouldn't since I like to play my games through again (if they are any good), I could always use it as another DVD player somewhere in the house. PS2 is my brothers.

I hear you Sniper Cole, i'm starting to lack faith in the ps2's future,though i decided i'm sticking with it. The games i was looking to buy the machine for have all come and gone now, such as Silent Hill2, GT3, GTA3, and now MGS2. Only FFX and The Getaway will make my list will be complete.
Let's hope that Silent hill 3, GTA4 etc will come out in due time!

I think that GTA4 will be coming out by the end of year. Not sure if that will in OZ. It will probably be in America _________________
