Thats a fair review. I'd like to add though if someone was tossing up between this and the GBA Mario and Luigi, I'd have to say GBA. _________________

Funnily enough I just picked up this game the other day - haven't played it yet because I thought I'd run through the GBA game first (never actually finished it), and then I'll tackle this one.
The Mario RPG games are good fun, but that good ol' platformer gameplay can't be beat!

I think the review is pretty much spot-on. Its alot of fun, and its got some great elements - the "voice acting", the writing and the character designs, but I feel its way too linear, and they really didn't use the Time Travel aspect to any great effect, either. _________________

Great first review.
EDIT: No multiplayer. <<< Mistaken. Move along no, no gloating over the mistaken poster. Ahem.
*sigh*

I regret the day I bought this game. The battles are impossible, especially with the hammer introduced. Argh its just frustrating, i wish i hadnt wasted 55 bucks on the games, it makes me cry at how frustratingly difficult and anoying this game is, so much so, that its unplayable.

To me, the first game seemed a lot more funny. I don't know why this one didn't make me laugh.

Well, the only time you really need to use the hammer is when countering. But yeah, like I said if you can't get around the timed button presses the game will mop the floor with you.

I found it was easy enough once you'd done a few battles. I hardly ever used the hammer, jumping does my damage anyway. This was a great game that kept me the whole way through, not done that with any rpg before, but now its done, there is definitely no replay ability. _________________

I have three words for anyone wanting to buy this game: THIS-GAME-ROCKS! I played the GBA game, and really enjoyed it, so I moved onto this one, and found it to be excellent as well. I know I got some laughs out of it! I like these game, great when you're not playing paper mario, and they suit the handheld systems great. _________________
